From the information I was able to find, your 2013 Subaru Tribeca does not have a brake controller connection under the dashboard, so you will be required to do some hard-wiring work. In order to use a brake controller, including the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Brake Controller - Proportional - Trailer Mounted, # TK94FR, your 2010 Subaru Tribeca will have to have a 7-Way connector. This will require a 7 and 4 way installation kit # ETBC7, to hardwire a brake controller on the vehicle. It will allow the plastic rear fascia to flex enough to allow the hitch to be installed to the bumper beam.
