In order to flat tow your 2008 Chevy TrailBlazer (it needs to be a 4WD) you need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. We do have the adapter part # RM-038 from Roadmaster that allows you to retain the use of your tow bar. If you haven't already installed the Demco base plate kit # DM9518119 on your 2008 Chevy TrailBlazer then you can use the Roadmaster adapter with base plate kit # 3155-1 (DISCONTINUED) if you have the SS model or part # 3109-1 if you don't have the SS model.

It looks like you've got a good handle on what you need to flat tow your TrailBlazer. You will indeed need a stop light switch, part # RM62FR.
