Installation of the Draw-Tite # DT65GR on your 2024 Kia Seltos is estimated to take about 40 minutes. This is a very simple installation that you can easily perform by yourself. However, it is always helpful to have an extra set of hands from a family member or friend. No worries, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C65FR is a no drilling needed installation. This is a bolt-on installation with no welding required or drilling of new holes. It uses existing factory hardware to be mounted to holes that already exist. This is a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" Class I hitch with a max gross trailer weight of 2,000 lbs. and a max tongue weight of 200 lbs.
If you plan on doing some light towing there are a few other parts you'll need too.

If the car wash is a manual one where the power washer is being operated by hand then you can leave the roof rack on. You'll need to remove the rack for an automatic car wash though because the machines might not recognize the rack and they will make contact and damage it.

In regards to the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C65FR which is a fit for a 2021 Kia Seltos, there is indeed trimming of a small under body panel required. This under body panel is just a protective covering on the passenger side. If you don't want to trim you can leave this off but the process is very minor. It is not necessary to have your 2021 Kia Seltos up on a lift or jack to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C65FR.
It may be slightly easier given you'll have more room if you were to use something like the FloTool RhinoRamps Max Vehicle Ramp Set # FT11912MI and Wheel Chocks # FT11930MI but it is not necessary for the installation.

We rate the install difficulty for the Draw-Tite # DT65GR on your 2022 Kia Seltos as a 5 out of 10, so it isn't overly difficult. Especially since you have done one before. There will be no drilling needed, but there is very minor trimming of a panel to finish the install and I included an image from the instructions showing what this entails.
