  • I spoke with my contact at Curt and he informed me that the underbody panel needs to be removed before installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C13103, on your 2008 Mercedes R350. He said that although there are only 4 bolts holding the fascia, the underbody panel is held in place by 7 plastic pins, or bolts, so caution needs to be used when removing these.
