• It sounds to me like you have the red wire coming from the Tekonsha Voyager, # 39510, connected to the wrong wire under your dash. The red wire needs to connect to the cold side of the brake light switch which will only show power when the brake pedal is pressed. Use a circuit tester like # PTW2993.
