That's totally fine, it's just nice to have the ability to use a weight distribution hitch because if you ever do trade up or tow a trailer to move some stuff around and you get in the 3,500-4,000lb range these start being pretty useful to help with sag and keeping the trailer tracking straight.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C99FR is a confirmed fit for your Highlander and will offer a much more hidden look with the crosstube being completely hidden behind the bumper. The wiring and... view full answer...
Hey Gary, yes the Yakima Rocketbox part # Y07192 that you referenced does fit the OEM crossbars of your 2013 Toyota Highlander. I checked with Yakima to verify. view full answer...
Hi Nhia,
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98844 is not going to come with trailer wiring so you will need to purchase it separately. For your 2017 Highlander SE I recommend the Curt # 56042 if you have the factory tow package; for non-tow package models you'll need the Tekonsha # 118449 instead. If you plan on towing a trailer with electric brakes then you'll need to go with the Tekonsha # 22119 instead for a 7-way and would also need a brake controller. view full answer...
I went ahead and verified through Rhino-Rack that the correct legs for your 2022 Toyota highlander are the:

Sometimes the instructions can be a little confusing when it comes to roof racks and I know exactly where you are coming from because I had the same thought the first time I installed a Thule roof rack.
The parts shown in the "A" section on the instructions (which I've attached a cutout of) are actually in the box with the (discontinued) Rapid Podium Feet TH460R. On the other side of things, anything marked as "B" in the instructions for the feet would be referring to what comes with the... view full answer...
Unfortunately our vendor for these engine block heaters, Kat's Heaters, has not confirmed a fit for the 2023 Highlander. Sorry, that's certainly not the news you were hoping for. The only thing we could offer for cold weather is a battery heater to keep your battery in check during the freezing winter, such as with Kat's Heaters Battery Heating Pad for Series 24 Batteries - 120V - 60 Watt # KH22400. view full answer...

The best option for help your 2023 Toyota Highlander Hybrid towing setup to stay level is by using a weight distribution system like the Blue Ox TrackPro # BLU47FR rated for a 600 lbs - 800 lbs tongue weight range.

For your 2002 Toyota Highlander there aren't any hidden hitches available at this time. All we have are standard hitches like the Draw Tite part # 41541 William. This is because the desire for hidden hitches didn't really come out till not that long ago so the hitch manufacturers started makin them for the current vehicles of the time but didn't go back and make them for older vehicles. view full answer...
The Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK57VR(22125) does have a converter. The square box on the harness is the converter which senses power for the tail lights, turn signals and brakes to send to the appropriate functions of the trailer. What it sounds like to me is the trailer running lights are some how sending power to the brake lights which are brighter. I would start by using a Test Light # PTW2993 or 7-way Tester # C66NR to ensure the correct functions on the connector... view full answer...
Hey Tami, so since your 2021 Toyota Highlander has the flush mount rails, your only option for adding a cargo basket will be to first add a roof rack with crossbars. I suggest going with a Rhino Rack Aero Bar roof rack, which will consist of the following parts:

- RCH Legs for Rhino-Rack Crossbars # RRRCH4
- Custom RCP Fit Kit # RR66QT

You can either look for the factory plug behind the bumper on the driver side or you can call your local dealer and have them look it up with your VIN number.
