• It sounds like you have something similar to a wishbone trailer wring harness in which there is a running light wire for each side of the trailer that then join one another at the trailer connector. I have not heard of the two ground wires being ran to the trailer connector but so long as you ground all the lights and the trailer connector this won't matter. For replacement, you can use the 4-Way Wishbone Trailer Wiring Harness part # A35W42B which has separate running light wires.
