To keep the bikes from making contact with each other as well as the back of the vehicle I recommend only looking at platform style bike racks such as # MPG2149 and the Swagman XC # S64650. With the hanging style racks you referenced the bikes will likely make contact with each other though it is unlikely they would make contact with the vehicle.

I've attached a picture of each hitch installed just so you can see them. There's not a lot of difference. When we installed them both on a 2014 Honda Accord they both measure 11-1/4 inches from the ground to the inside of the receiver opening. However, the Curt, part # C11681, measures about 2-1/2 inches from the hitch pin hole to the furthest point of the bumper and the Curt, part # C11496, is only 1-1/2 inches. So the Curt hides more behind the bumper.
