For your 2016 Ram 5500, you will need to have some kind of brackets fabricated to install the Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30054.
When the truck's frame is wider than the 5th wheel hitch, brackets need to be fabricated to secure the hitch to both the truck deck and the frame.
