- Hey Paul, so we installed this Curt # C92WR hitch on a 2023 Volvo XC60 not too long ago. The liftgate sensor did still function with the hitch installed. That said, the hitch does sit pretty near the sensor, so the sensors range was slightly limited in the area directly beneath the hitch. All you will need to do is wave your foot on either side of the receiver tube and it will operate exactly as it should.
