The red wire of a brake controller is for the stoplight circuit. This circuit needs to have 12 volts when the brakes are applied and none when they are released. Typically it's a matter of finding the right circuit to attach this to. If that is verified and the connection is solid the first place to check is the third brake light fuse of the vehicle as typically when that goes out the red wire of a brake controller will stop working as well. view full answer...

Here's the process on pumping grease into a hub that has EZ lube spindles. But please be careful not to overfill the hub as it's easy to do and will blow out the grease seal.
First, grease your bearings and spindle by hand or with a bearing packer like part # L70025. If you are going to do it by hand, start with a gob of grease in your palm and then press the bearing into the grease with some force.

Are you aware that the # CAB-C5G gooseneck adapters do already offer some height adjustment? By loosening the set bolts, it's possible to raise up the adapter until the top is 16 inches high. Unfortunately, Convert-A-Ball doesn't offer an extension like you're speaking of.

This could be as simple as a blown fuse. Check to see if you have 12 volt power at the jack. Also check grounding. Husky jacks are grounded where the jack meets the frame - ensure this area is clean. If you have power, test the up/down button to see that it is passing power. If it is bad you will have to source it at an electronics store. In order to determine the correct grease cap for your axle, you will need to measure the inner diameter of the hub where the grease cap presses in. I recommend using a dial caliper or another precise measuring tool since this measurement will have to be precise.
Keep in mind that you will want your grease cap diameter just slightly larger than the inner diameter of the ring of your hub, but no more than about the 2 one hundredths of an inch, to ensure a secure fit.
