Yes you can keep your 12 volt batteries connected when you connect the trailer to a shore power connection. The battery though would not charge from this connection. view full answer...
Virtually any 5th wheel trailer will have a weight capacity for its roof that will be at least enough for a person of average weight to get up there to do things such as repair or replace a roof vent like the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K or to adjust the trailer's roof TV antenna.
I reviewed an online manual for a 2013 model year of StarCraft trailer (older models' manuals are not offered online) and this indicated that the ladders installed are rated for 350-lbs but the weight... view full answer...
You're in a tough spot if you plan to use the RV a lot during the winter months. The problem is that you have to winterize the water system so that the pipes don't freeze, but you'd be having to undo the winterizing process every time you use the trailer. Best option would be to store it during the week somewhere indoors that will be above freezing so that you can get by without winterizing the system. view full answer...
You'd need to use a 12 volt charger like # 329-GENIUS5 plugged into your generator and then attached to your deep cycle battery. This will allow you to charge the battery pretty easily. Your generator should have more than one outlet so you could potentially run the furnace and the charger at the same time. Or if not you could use a multi-plug plugged into the single outlet. view full answer...

For example, the generator mentioned above has a surge power output of 4,500 watts when using gas and 4,100 watts when using propane. The running power output is 3,600 watts gas and 3,300... view full answer...
It is not easy to gauge how much propane your refrigerator will consume. But if it is 12 cubic feet fridge, then it can consume approximately 1.5 pounds of propane on a daily basis. With this, the energy of about 1,400 British Thermal Units (BTU) is produced every hour.
I don't know what fridge you have and whether it's capable of being switched from propane to electric. view full answer...
Most likely we have what you are looking for but you will need to first determine what vent you have on your trailer.
The best way to find the correct replacement vent cover for your cargo trailer is to measure the vent. Most standard vents are 14-1/4 by 14-1/4 inches wide, 14 x 14 inches wide or 13 x 14 inches wide. Next if the manufacturer name is on the vent that will help. Finally, you will need to look closely at the hinged portion of the vent.
If there is a rolled metal hinge attached... view full answer...
