  • If you're speaking of a receiver hitch like the # C13037 being stolen, wow! In my almost 14 years here that's a new one on me. There really isn't any really good way to theft-proof a hitch in that situation. I believe the best solution you mentioned would be to have the at least a couple of the mounting nuts tacked to the hitch so they couldn't be easily removed without grinding the tacks out. This would be an inconvenience if the hitch were ever removed, but I can think of no other way...

  • For the 1998 Plymouth Voyager, two 1/2 inch holes will need to be drilled in the bottom side of the frame member on each side of the vehicle. This is not terribly difficult, you can remove the two rear bumper bolts as indicated in the instructions, use the bolt leader to fish the rearward bolts into place, and loosely bolt the hitch into place.
