In order to run the backup light into the cab, all you need is the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way Flat to 5-Way Flat - Vehicle End # C57187. This harness will allow you to convert your 4-way harness to a 5-way with the additional backup light pin.
If you currently have a 7-way installed, I recommend routing some spare wire from the reverse signal on your 2000 Peterbilt to the 7 way and then into the trailer's reverse lights. view full answer...
We do offer brake controllers such as the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C that takes in air pressure and converts it to an electrical signal for trailer brakes, but this item is not compatible with electric-over-hydraulic brakes, only electric drum brakes.
For your application I suggest the Prodigy P2 # 90885 that you referenced. It has a setting for EOH brakes. You will also need an installation kit # ETBC7 to enable a hardwired installation. The challenge will... view full answer...
For your Peterbilt 335 I definitely recommend going with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 over the Hayes # HA100400C because it's going to allow for a much easier install and is more economically priced. The P3 also offers a clearer LED display on the unit itself so it's more user-friendly during actual operation as well.

The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 has an internal sensor with automatic-leveling ability so it's able to detect deceleration even if it's knocked out of alignment. It will perform flawlessly when driving on paved roads and it will do a pretty decent job when encountered with the bouncing and jarring associated with driving semis and motor homes.
There are very rare occasions where a time delayed brake controller like the Tekonsha PowerTrac # 39523 is the best option. But if you plan on... view full answer...
I called a few of our pintle hook manufacturers as well as went out to our warehouse to measure some for you. Unfortunately, none of them will accept a 2" thick lunette ring. The majority of them are designed for a 1-3/4" thick ring like the Buyers Products 15 Ton Pintle Hook part # 337PH15.
It looks like from the photo you attached you are right at the 1-3/4" measurement so the Buyers Products 15 Ton Pintle Hook may still work for you. If not your best option would be to replace it with... view full answer...
