I'll be happy to recommend a new set of brakes but unfortunately you can't upgrade to the next size up because the mounting bolt pattern is different, the brakes are physically larger, and the rating is 8K which would be way too much for your trailer.

This kit has the standard bearings and grease seal for a 3,500 lb axle.
