Sorry to hear about that Michael. There are a couple of basic troubleshooting steps you can do but really the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # C56357 is plug and play.
The first thing I'd check is the ground wire and make sure it's connected to a solid bare metal surface that does not have any dirt or rust. Also make sure the wire isn't damaged or loose.

Check the ground on the white wire for the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118670 on your 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. Make sure it is securely connected to a clean, bare-metal surface as that's what's required. view full answer...
