There are a few different options for the 2019 Subaru Ascent, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13400 and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76253 are what I recommend choosing between. The main difference is aesthetics and install difficulty.

It appears the Curt Receivers # C11396 & # C49VV are the same but utilize different hardware for mounting. I reached out to Curt who verified the CAD drawings for both receivers looked identical with similar measurements. I do recommend holding your current Receiver # C11396 up on your 2018 Nissan Leaf to verify all the hitch holes do line up.
