The only true what to tell if a trailer has self-adjusting or manual adjusting braking assemblies will indeed be to remove the hub and look for the self-adjust cable (see photo). I am not aware of another method for this as the model number (if present) is generally placed on a sticker inside the assembly which also requires you to remove hub. I spoke to the technical department for the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly # TVXL25 for which the Replacement 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # TVHB25 is designed for and they said that it has not been updated in at least 5 years.

The Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System part # HT32215 uses friction to help level the tow vehicle and then reduce/prevent trailer sway. Therefore, it is not uncommon for there to be noise while turning. That is more or less just the nature of these types of systems. I reached out to Global Link about the keys for the Global Link Ultra M Pro Travel Trailer Lock # GL95FR.
They told me that this lock does have 90 unique key codes and not just a single master key. Realistically, that's such a big number that the odds of running into someone who has a travel trailer with the same M Pro lock, with the same key number, and who is going around trying to unlock travel trailer doors is extraordinarily slim.
