Expert Answers about Keystone Bullet Travel Trailer

  • Replacement Shroud for Dometic Duo-Therm AC on 2010 Keystone Bullet
  • The 3107541.009 is the part number for the analog control kit for the Dometic Duo-Therm on your 2010 Keystone Bullet. Based on the information we have it does appear as though the # DMC69FR you looked at is the correct replacement. However, without the actual AC model number we can't be sure. I understand it is covered right now but I recommend measuring to confirm this. The shroud measures 34-1/2" long x 30" wide x 10-3/4" tall.

  • Replacement Bearings And Grease Seals For A 2020 Keystone Bullet 248RKS Travel Trailer
  • Hi Scot, To find the correct bearings and grease seals for your 2020 Keystone Bullet 248RKS Travel Trailer you'll need to either check them to see if the part number is still stamped onto them or measure the spindle with a caliper # PTW80157 at points B, C, and D for the inner diameter and the hub bore hole for the outer diameter. Once we have either the part numbers or measurements I can see which Timken bearings will be a compatible fit.

  • Can a WDS Without the Sway Control Ball Hole Have One Added
  • If the head on your WDS does not have a hole for a sway control ball, then I recommend just returning the system and getting a new system that does have sway control, like the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System # RP66084. The Strait-Line systems use dual cam sway control, which prevents trailer sway before it begins, has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs, a gross towing weight capacity of 12,000 lbs, and is one of the top sway control systems on the market.

  • Recommended Replacement Idler and Drive Head Covers for a Lippert Solera Awning
  • John, the Replacement Front Cover for Solera Power RV Awnings # LC643922 does not fit both sides. This part is only going to work with the drive side, which would be the right side if you were facing the awning. For the left side, the idler side, you'd want # LC643923.

  • Troubleshooting Single Brake Drum Overheating After Replacing Brakes
  • I would not try to back that off since it is extremely hard to do on self-adjusting brakes. Also, I doubt the brake assembly overadjusted. You can spin it to see if there is excess drag compared to the others but I'm willing to bet the castle nut is overtightened on that hub. This is a common cause for overheating and seems likely based on the work that was recently done. The castle nut should be hand tightened then backed off a quarter turn.
