If the head on your WDS does not have a hole for a sway control ball, then I recommend just returning the system and getting a new system that does have sway control, like the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System # RP66084.
The Strait-Line systems use dual cam sway control, which prevents trailer sway before it begins, has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs, a gross towing weight capacity of 12,000 lbs, and is one of the top sway control systems on the market.
