I did some checking on the flat towability (I think that's a word) on your 2018 GMC Acadia and found that as long as yours has the V6 engine size it's flat towable as long as you follow the guidelines in the owners manual. There was no exceptions to this based on adaptive cruise control. The four cylinder models would need to be towed on a tow dolly like the # RM-2050-1.

That's ludicrous, you can absolutely install a trailer hitch on a 2010 GMC Acadia without damaging the frame. The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98863 is what I recommend, it offers a bolt-on fit without any drilling or welding. It's covered under a lifetime warranty as well.
