  • Will My Converter/Charger Work With A 100ah AGM Battery?
  • Hello Kg. Most all of the converter/chargers out there will be compatible with AGM batteries. Although each unit will have its own list of compatible battery types. For example, the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel - 60 Amp # PD4060K that you were looking at is compatible with lithium-ion, flooded lead acid, AGM, and gel batteries. If you can tell me exactly what model converter charger you have, I can tell you if it will work with...

  • Lift Kit Fitment for a 2020 R-Pod 196
  • Hey Marty, thanks for reaching out! You'll likely be installing the Lippert 3-1/2" Axle Riser Kit # LC382741 on your 2020 R-Pod 196 but you'll need to confirm that your R-Pod is equipped with a square torsion axle rated for 3,500 lbs and bolt hole spacing at 7-7/8" on center. You can either verify which axle you have or send me a photo of the tag on in the middle of your axle so I can confirm which lift kit will work for your R-Pod.

  • Determining The Correct Replacement Mattress For A 2017 Forest River R-Pod 171
  • The etrailer eDream Deluxe RV Mattress # e84FR has a shipping weight of 102lbs but about 3-5lbs can be accounted for with the packaging. These mattresses are going to be quite a bit heavier than the OEM mattresses simply because there's more put into these to help make your comfort level as close to your mattress at home. To determine the correct size it's best to measure the bed frame to see exactly how much space you actually have and then start looking for the mattress. The # e84FR is...

  • Recommended Bearing Kit for a Lippert 4,400 lbs Axle
  • For a Lippert 4,400 lbs axle you will need the Hub Bearing Kit for Lippert, Dexter, and AL-KO Axles item # BK2-100. The kits for the 3,500 lbs axles fit the 4,400 lbs ones too so hope this clears up the confusion. You will need one kit per hub.

  • Will The Lift Kit For a 2014 Forest River R-Pod 177 Affect The Camper Stability?
  • Thank you for providing all your axle information Orrie. I do see your 2014 Forest River R-Pod 177 does have the #10 Torflex which would use the Lift Kit # K71-707-01. This provides 2-5/8" of additional ground clearance. You are not going to notice any less stability with your R-Pod since you are only adding a lift block and not changing any of the suspension characteristics that much. Do remember by lifting the suspension this will affect your hitch height and also the steps getting into...

  • Trailer Brakes Only Get Hot On One Side After Replacing Brake Magnet
  • It sounds like there is a problem with the actual internal components on the brake you replaced the magnet on. Since replacing the magnet got it working but it only gets warm it makes me think that the actuator lever is not able to fully engage the brake. While you can check the parts it may be best to replace the entire assembly.

  • Replacement Fenders for Forest River R-Pod
  • I am sorry Mike but we do not sell custom fit fenders for your Forest River R-Pod. The absolute closest thing I could offer would be the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender item # CE17100ATB. It measures 10" Wide x 32" long x 16" tall and is made of 14-gauge aluminum. This has the standard diamond plate finish that it looks like your R-Pod came with from the pictures I can find online. You would get this fender mounted up using the Mounting Brackets for Trailer Fender item # CE26098G-2.

  • Will The L-Brackets For The Reese Pro Round Bar WDH Clear A Driveway Dip
  • Hi Randy, The L-Brackets that attach the Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution w Sway Control # RE44FR to the trailer frame are adjustable so there's more of a range that it could stick down below the frame instead of a specific number. The spring bars typically won't be an issue because they will be lifting the trailer frame up when going through an incline or decline that's steep, the real issue is typically the shank, which is portion that connects the hitch head to the trailer hitch...

  • Recommended Axle-Less System for a 2016 Forest River R-Pod 179
  • Stephen, from what I can gather your Forest River R-Pod 179 has 3,500 lb axles, so the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR3500S05 would be the correct one. This would also allow you to reuse your braking assemblies because it'll use the same bearing combination your current axle uses.
