When we installed the Curt # C11282 and the Draw-Tite # 24882 Class I hitches on a 2013 Chevy Cruze, we found that the Curt hitch had a 6-1/4 inch measurement from the hitch pin hole to the furthest rearward point of the back bumper. The Draw-Tite was recessed so that the dimension was 3-3/4 inches.

Trailer hitches are given a class rating based on their maximum weight capacity and receiver opening size. The classes range from Class I which has the lowest capacity (2000lbs and under) and a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" opening to Class V which has the highest capacity (around 20,000lbs) and, typically, a 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" opening.. For a hitch that would have the hitch opening as far back towards the rear of your 2014 Chevy Cruze as possible you would want the Draw Tite Hitch part # 24882 as it is confirmed to fit your vehicle and only had a distance of 3-3/4 inches from the hitch pin hole to the rear of the bumper.
