I do agree that rivnuts will be a better option than pop rivets, but typically when installing something like the Bargman LED Double Tail Light - 5 Function - 18 Diodes - Colonial White Base - Red and Clear Lens # 47-84-001, you can also just use screws to attach it. This will usually be a lot easier and less expensive than either option.
