Hi, Matt with Etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the scrub blade platinum windshield wipers on our 2021 Jeep Compass. And today we're gonna have the 18 and 24 inch wipers. Now let's take a close look at 'em. So these wiper blades are gonna be hybrid and they're gonna have two blades on them and they're gonna be great for if you're in any areas that has a lot of debris, whether you're driving on gravel roads, there's a lot of bugs around, or there's just a lot of debris getting on your windshield, this is gonna help pick that up. You're gonna have your front blade that's gonna help knock a lot of the out of the way.
And then that second blade on the back, it's gonna help clear all that up. So originally we had our beam style blades on here that came with the car, and let's talk about how they kind of differ and how they compare. On our driver's side, we're gonna have our beam style wiper blades, and on our passenger side, the ones that we've just installed, are gonna be our hybrid style scrub blades. Now this is gonna have a dual blade system on it and it's gonna help it pick up more debris and water as opposed to just have the single blade on it. One of the main advantages of a hybrid style over a beam style, it's gonna be these clamps that run through our beam here or the blade itself.
And that's gonna help apply pressure throughout evenly as opposed to our beam style that don't have those clamps running down through it. So you're gonna get a lot of areas that won't be able to pick up or move water as easy as our hybrid style. Now we're gonna compare how they actually work compared to each other. So I'm just gonna hop in and run the wiper blades. (car dinging) And as you just saw, when we tested them both out, the hybrid style left less streaks than the beam style, and then on the way back the hybrid style was able to clear all that up, while the beam style just kind of smeared it around.
Now that we've seen what difference the scrub blade makes, we can install 'em now. Now we're just gonna grab a trim tool and come over to the back of our wiper blade and stick it under this tab. Apply pressure until we can get that off. And now we can start removing the wiper blade. And from this point we're just gonna apply pressure to this tab underneath and push forward.
And we're just gonna apply pressure to this tab in here and pull down until we get it all the way out. Just like that. Carefully remove it. And now we can put on our new wiper. And a scrub blade is gonna have that tab to make it a little bit easier to put on. We're just gonna line it up, push it in until it hooks around that point and we're gonna push this tab back down. (tab clicks) And then we can remove our towel and gently put our wiper blade back down. And that will conclude the installation for the scrub blade platinum windshield wipers on our 2021 Jeep Compass.

Great blades on my Van, work very, very well. My wifes CR-V though, as it has a 26 blade and an 18, leaves more streaks with the 26. Doesn't seem to have a stiff enough backing.

They are better than what I was able to get in the store and still hanging on strong. I had to get help putting on the front, but the rear one was easy Peary.
I have had these scrub blades for about a year now and they are still preforming great. I am going to order some for our other vehicle and highly recommend them to everyone!
I did not see anything special about these wipers. They now are squeeking whith each wipe now. I had hope they would last longer. I put these on all 4 vehicles at the same time. This survey is for all 7 wipers purchased.
Hello...Right now, the wiper blades are for when the current blades wear out. When we install the new blades, we will be happy to give a review. I do want to tell you that the RV cover we bought last year was put on our RV this fall and we are quite happy with it.
These are the best wipers we've ever had and highly recommend them. You will be happy you changed to these super wipers.
