Hey, everybody. Welcome to each other.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the scrubbed blade platinum windshield wiper blade here on our 2021 Chevy Spark. Now, these guys can be an excellent way of going ahead and replacing your old windshield wiper blade. So whether you just aren't having a good time with your old one or you just need something with a little bit more heavy duty application. This can be a great way to go ahead and make sure we have a clean, clear windshield.
Now we're, real quick with the scrub blade. What's happening, exactly, you are getting two blades on here guys as you guys can see so that's going to be excellent. That first blade going to do a good job of cutting through that grime, any of that debris that might be building up. And then that second blade, hopefully staying up nice for ourselves, allowing ourselves to have that second blade, only for that water. That way we have a constant, smooth, constant touch across our windshield.
That way we don't have any skips or anything, and our blades can be holding up quite a while for ourselves. Now the scrub blade, in my opinion, definitely gonna be more for your highway driving, especially you're gonna have a lot of debris on your windshield. So if you find yourself just, you know, in the city or not really going anywhere too far all the time, this might be just a little overkill. However, it's still going to do a great job innately. So it's not a total waste of course.
One last little thing about this blade, too guys, you are getting that hybrid style What that means we are having this protective outer housing here for our frame elements. That's going to do a good job, of course, preventing any kind of debris from getting into our blade causing it mischief, and also just making it work and keep in` working order for a long time. On the inside here, you are seeing those little points of contact. We have a little bit of a frame design in there as well. So as you guys can see they exposed that, that's given you good contact across the blade as well.
So while our plastic covering does a good job of giving us that nice curve, contact and pushing all in, each one of these points of contact are going to be pushing into our windshield, which is going to do a great job of not having any streaks or bumps or skips. It's going to do job of holding on there. Well, it's not going to take us too much time to get it installed. Let's go ahead and take a look. We just want to come ahead to our other windshield blade. Let me go ahead and get across here for us, guys. So we want to come right here to our driver's side. There's going to be a longer one. Now we just have a simple J style hook here today. Now this is where things may be a little different at home. So on ours, our factory one here today, we just have a little tab we need to press in. That's going to go ahead and allow this to release. So yours might be just a little different at home. Yours might be a release system. Yours might just fall right off. That just kind of depends on which blade you have installed previously. Then we go ahead and take our new scrubbed blade here. We're just going to go ahead and pop, open that attachment and allowing ourselves to utilize our J style holder that's already in place. Now, if yours, for some reason is a little different than our J hook here today does come with a multitude of different adapters. And all we have to do is simply slot this in, get it in position, fight with it a little bit and slide it in. You're going to go ahead and hear it click into place that you can bring that arm back down, like so, and we're good to go. You guys will probably notice too and I should've mentioned this before, we do have a towel underneath here that is going to be important when you guys are changing it, because we don't want this arm snapping back. It is metal and it can be a really easy way to crack that windshield. So if you do have, like a foam blocker or towel something to prevent that arm from snapping back and causing any damage is really going to help you out. Well, let's go ahead, throw on that passenger one and see how they work. So here we are just simulating a little bit of rain here with our wiper fluids. As you guys can see, it does a very good job of cleaning it off. Especially if you have a lot of debris, you're going to have a way easier time to clear it off. Especially as they're fresh going down the highway, they'll do a good job of getting those bugs off. As you can see, we're not seeing any streaking really. I am seeing a little triangle being left in that bottom corner there. However, that is very natural where those twos cross and it's not impacting my vision at all. So it's not something that I'd be worried about. Well, as you guys saw, it did a very good job. I wasn't seeing any streaking being left behind, which is also a big one you want to watch out for, and it will do a very good job cleaning the debris. And I think it's really going to start seeing that difference when you are on those highway drives and you're seeing those bugs come in. You're seeing that knock up from everybody else driving around next to you. Really going to do a good job of cutting to that grime and all that debris that can build up and still leaving our second blade, allowing ourselves to get that nice clean look to our windshield. That way we can go ahead and see out of it in no time. Again, I think it's going to do a great job. However, it is a little bit more of a heavy duty application. So definitely be careful as we are going. And if it's something you don't need, you can always go something a little lower. But guys, I think that's going to do it for our look at the scrub blade platinum windshield wiper blade here on our 2021 Chevy Spark. I'm Bobby. Thank you for watching..

After two orders for these, everything turned out great. They are for a Mercedes Sprinter Motor home. The original wipers are the squeeze together tabs to install them on the wiper arms. They are very flimsy and the squeeze together tabs break easily. Actually the etrailer people tried to be helpful but didn't understand the new adapters. They gave me a second return authorization. I read in the product information sheet that was packaged with the new wipers to call them them for questions. I called and a very helpful lady told ne how to disassemble the wiper blade and to install two new adapters on each blade. The new adapter looks nothing like the original adapter but is so much better, stronger and a better tight fit.
I'm on my second pair of these blades. I bought two sets on a single purchase. Within a few months the blades started sticking and skipping on my windshield. Soon after, I could not tolerate the skipping so I used the second set within 3 months. The next set exhibited the same skipping almost from the beginning. I don't know if it's the design with my vehicle (2015 Toyota Tundra) that caused this or some defect. In the rain it worked well, but would still skip across my windshield. That being said, its performance was nothing different with another other brand.
Overall it's not worth the extra $$$ for this feature.

*** The Rating is Incorrect *** This should be a 5-Star Review *** I found my initial review was incorrect as I accidentally installed them incorrectly. After installing label side up, these worked great. I live in a dryarid environment that tends to dry my wipers prematurely. This is on-par in regard to longevity and durability. In regard to performance, I really like how these wipers work. I would highly recommend.

I bought these because of the Michelin name, the twin blade and scrubbable design. Awesome overall quality which I believe will give wonderful service for a long time. Great idea. Terrible execution. During the ice storm this week in Dallas the passenger side wiper broke at the hinge. The plastic tabs broke. Thankfully it was not the driver side or I would have been in a dangerous situation. Etrailer will not do anything about it. Their statement “Per our return policy, we are not able to issue a reshipment on installed and used items” Horrible support. Horribly designed product. We will not be buying from etrailer again.
Work as well as the store bought wipers. have some streaking recently. will try and clean them and see what happens in the next rain.
Did not work any better than single blade wipers.
I could not stand the chatter from this wiper. Finally replaced it now there peace and quiet.

They work ok, they're starting to wear and break down a lityle, don't think I'll get all winter out if them.
Great product, long lasting and well built. I just wish they had an exchange program for these wipers. They are such great quality I hate to throw it away.
Not the worst wiper blades I have bought, but high on the list. Blades don’t wipe the entire surface. Only wipe about 2/3 of the surface on the driver side. I will have to replace wipers.
So far so good. They perform as advertised. I'll certainly, buy them again.
Just opened and installed these wiper blades. Quality seems good but cannot comment on any longer term experience, stand by...
I bought 2 of these and I have to use duct tape to keep them from falling off. All the other ones are staying on my car fine but these two the latches are weak
The blades are very well made. The adapters rather not. One is very stiff. Perhaps it will run in during operation. Overall a good product.

After a year, the wipers still work perfectly. However, I hardly see any advantage from the dual wipers. On the contrary, dirt can accumulate between the dual wipers. Whether I would buy them again would then be a question of price.
Recently ordered new pair of scrubblade platinum wipers. Box damaged in transit, and only one arrived. Got hold of Brenden C, and he made it right in days! Not only top quality goods, But also top quailty service from etrailer

Scrubblade Platinum wipers are definitely great wipers. I have them on both of my vehicles and they do the job. I've used different wipers and only get 6 months out of some brands. These are a year old and still working fine.
Very good blade and installed easily. Should be good to wipe those pesty South Louisiana bugs off the windshield I get when driving at night.
The first test with rain yesterday was amazing. I have never had the windshield wiped clear of all rain before considering all the far more expensive wipers I have purchased in past. Great product thus far.

Update from previous rating... Works if you install it correctly. Previously gave this a bad review, but found out that they were installed incorrectly where the rigid side was down. This caused the wiper to skip. When I realized this and flipped them around, they worked smoothly as expected. I would recommend.
