Today we will be reviewing part number RA85007. This is the rampage locking and billet style fuel tank door for jeep wranglers 2007 to 2014 and jeep wrangler unlimited 2007 to 2014. The billet style fuel tank door with bezel, adds a hint of style to your vehicle, has a nice elements going around the outside of the tank here. It's going to give your vehicle a nice clean look. The locking door is going to keep out people that may be interested in trying to siphon your gasoline. Two keys are included. You just place that in the appropriate slot, move it to an unlock position and you have full access to your gas cap.
Has a really nice aluminum construction. It's going to provide a lot of durability and it's going to stand up against rust. It is also going to resist gasoline and other chemicals that maybe hazardous. The nice black finish is going to create a rugged look for your ride, and it has a really quick and simple installation with the included self-tapping screws. Now, they are pretty small, so when installing these you want to be sure not to over tighten them. What you do is you would place this door up against the vehicle, making sure that your fuel tank door opens towards the front of your jeep.
You would take a self-tapping screw, apply constant pressure to the fuel tank door to keep it up close against your vehicle. Start here at the top by inserting a self-tapping screw and then you just make your way around the fuel door in a clockwise manner until you get all those mounting screws in. Now as long as you keep firm constant pressure up against the door, and as you screw in those screws, there's no need to worry, they are going to land right in the middle of the housing that this goes up against here on the inner lip. So, again, it's just important to you keep that pressure up against your fuel tank door as you insert those screws. That's going to complete today's review of part number RA85007.
