The CargoGlide slide-out truck tray lets you load and unload items in your truck bed without climbing, crawling, or excessive reaching. Instead, this custom-fit bed slide brings the cargo to you - whether you're hauling toolboxes, yard bags, paint cans, or even large appliances and construction materials. Simply move the release lever and give the tray a pull to extend it out up to 75 percent of its length from the bed of your truck. The tray boasts a hefty 1,500-lbs capacity and includes built-in tie-down tracks with eyebolts to help you strap down your cargo. The CargoGlide is perfect for do-it-yourselfers, contractors, hunters, and designated grocery-getters. It's made from top-grade materials and it installs to your truck bed in just a few steps.
The CargoGlide is custom-fit for your vehicle to make the best use of the available space in your truck bed.
The sliding tray works like a supersized, high-quality toolbox drawer. Pull the tray out to bring your gear to you without reaching or climbing up into the bed of your truck. The tray's 8 tough, high-quality bearings are designed to glide smoothly even when the tray is loaded to capacity, so it's a cinch to move heavy loads into and out of your truck bed.
The CargoGlide uses a combination of full complement, permanently-sealed bearings and sealed side-thrust bearings to ensure smooth, dependable operation without binding, whether you're parked on a level surface or an uneven one, such as a hill or ditch.
The CargoGlide has a locking point every 12 inches. These built-in stops let you extend the tray in increments and they serve as safety stops. When fully extended, the tray pulls out to 70 percent of its length in a long-bed truck and 75 percent of its length in a short-bed.
To slide the tray out, reach under the front face plate where the 2 cutouts are located. Squeeze the latch on the left side to release the tray, grab the handle on the right, and pull. You can bypass the stops by maintaining pressure on the latch. To close the CargoGlide, simply push the tray back in until it locks into place.
The CargoGlide's tray is a stout, 3/4" thick sheet of moisture-resistant, marine-grade plywood, laminated with TPO - a tough material that resists water, chemicals, abrasions, and flame spread. The tray is held in place by a sturdy steel frame finished with chip-resistant black powder coat, and it will remain rock steady as you load or unload tools and equipment. The sturdy construction means it won't bend, warp or twist under a load. The CargoGlide tray can also be tilted up and removed from its track if you need to make room for tall loads.
The tray has a burnished aluminum face plate and is surrounded on three sides by extruded, 6061-T6 aluminum walls. The walls are 4" tall and they help keep your cargo from sliding off the tray and from bumping into the sides of your truck. The CargoGlide also has a built-in tie-down system that helps control your cargo. A track runs along the side and rear walls of the tray to give you lots of options for securing your load. The tray comes with 4, marine-grade steel O-rings that can be positioned anywhere along the track to create tie-down points for your cargo. Each tie-down track anchor point has a 400-lbs capacity.
You can attach 4' x 4" add-on walls (sold separately) to carrier's cab-end existing walls to increase the wall height to 8", giving you even better cargo control.
The CargoGlide can be installed in a few simple steps. It's designed to be attached at 4-6 points in your truck bed using PlusNuts and bolts - all part of the included hardware packet. You will need the following tools: tape measure, crescent wrench, drill, knife, 5/16" bit, 1/2" bit, 1/2" socket, and a ratchet or impact driver.
The steps are straightforward (consult manual for full instructions):
The CargoGlide can be equipped to offer convenient bicycle transport. Install fork- or frame-mount truck bed bike racks (sold separately), and then slide the tray out for bike loading/unloading. No more awkward lifting or painful jabs from pedals and handlebars as you hoist bikes into and out of your truck bed.
The 2 adjustable feet on the underside of the tray allow you to fine-tune the height of the CargoGlide tray when you install it. This allows you to customize the tray to the perfect height for clearing your tailgate. Turn the feet clockwise to shorten the height of the tray or rotate the feet counterclockwise to extend it up.
