Today I'm going to take a look at the DZ heavyweight, custom fit, truck bed mat, part number DZ86917. Here's what our truck bed mat will look like once it's installed. Here on the bottom of the mat are the rubber cleats that will help hold the mat and cargo in place. Here, we get an idea just how thick this mat is, so it'll help protect our pick-up bed. Even being this thick, the mat is still pliable, but the extra thickness protects the bed and prevents the mat from cracking, tearing, or rusting. In some cases, when we first roll our mat out, because it's rolled up in packaging, it may take a little time in the sun for it to flatten out. As you can see here, our mat is flattened out and we get a really good idea of how well it's cut out to our pick-up bed.
The mat texture and ribs will help hold our cargo in place so it doesn't shift or move around while we're traveling down the road. Try and give you an idea, we're going to go ahead and throw some cargo in here. You can see, it doesn't shift or slide around, even when I'm kind of pushing it. As we're getting ready to install the truck bed mat, we can see that the pick-up bed has already been scratched up because it didn't have a truck bed mat. Now, to roll it out, we're simply going to just line it up with the truck bed, let it roll out, then straighten it up. Mat is custom fit for your vehicle.Product was as addervtised. Fit great. Still a bit cold at my house(winter) so it still has a few woes from being rolled up. Expect once it warms up it will lay flat. Bought for added protection in my truck bed. It’s on top of a spray in liner. Running with a camper soon. Will help with grip and a bit of anti vibration.
Was a little concerned that the packaging stated the model years that were older than my 2021 Dodge Ram. My thought was, should I open the package or send it back? I figured I could trim it if needed so I opened the package. It fit perfectly. Fit was no longer a concern. I do like it.
I was originally going to order a WeatherTech truck bed mat but they were out of stock. I ordered this one instead but I found some issues with it. It’s not easy to clean because of its rough surface. You can’t just wipe it off. It actually needs to be rinsed off with a garden hose or pressure sprayer. It’s very heavy. If you want to add extra weight to your truck bed then it’s great. It’s just difficult to remove and re-install because of its weight. I am getting older so everything is getting more difficult for me. I wish the surface of this mat was smooth so it would be easier to clean in the truck bed. The fit in my 2021 RAM 1500 was perfect. I have a 6’4” bed. No trimming needed. What is really good is that whatever you put on this mat will stay put. I have some empty plastic totes and a spare wheel in the bed. They stay where you place them while driving around. It’s just not easy to clean or remove. The price was very good too.
The tonneau by Access is great as usual with good fit and quality. The tonneau is capable of handling high tension which helps prevent pooling. There is barely any rain water standing. The effect is almost like a solid surface. Caution on the ladder racks you pair them with though as the rack may prevent the tonneau from gaining maximum tension wich will cause more pooling than desired. I paired the with the recommended TracRac for the sliding adjustable rails. They do fit however the bulky base rail of the TracRac is too close to the sides of the tonneau and prevents my fingers from getting in there to pull the tonneau tight on the velcro sides. It's doable but very time consuming and not ideal if you open and close the tonneau frequently. I would propose that Access make some design tweaks to resolve this and better complement the TracRac base rails since it is one of the few racks that have a high load capacity. Other than that the tonneau cover is the best quality I have used for a roll up. Still have the same one on my 03 Dakota since 2008.
My truck camper never moved a inch while setting on this rubber mat for 8000 grueling miles from Pennsylvania trough the Great Rocky Mountains and back.
The fit was excellent and just about everything I put in the bed will stay put and not slide all over. Helps protect the OEM sprayed in bed liner also.
I was dissapointed in the way it fit at the back towards the tailgate, especially since it was a confirmed fit for my RAM 1500. It does not sit flat and I need to trim it. If I knew I would need to trim it I would not have bought it.

I have gotten in contact with the manufacturer and they have said that unfortunately this bed mat is going to fit a little differently depending on the vehicle. Trimming is required depending on the vehicle. As for the mat not sitting flat, heat usually flattens them out over time so they will want to consider that as well.
Everything about shopping at etrailer.com was amazing! From the description of the hitch and bed liner to the instructional videos and product reviews. Price was about the same as Amazon but the hitch from etrailer has a better mounting bolt allowing the bumper cover to snap back on while the Amazon's doesn't even though it's the same Curt hitch the hardware is better. Plus the shipment arrived earlier than I expected overall super satisfied
This bed mat has done an excellent job of protecting the floor of my truck bed. I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants a mat that doesn't let things slide around in the bed

Won’t lay down flat ,came rolled up with creases in it and is still puckered up a year later. Poor Quality!!!

I think it's better than a spray in liner as it protects the bottom of the truck when I put heavy things in the bed. And if I do damage it I can replace it for the same price as getting a sprayed in liner repaired.

Great product I received it with a small blemish in the very center of the mat about 8 x 8 in very center. Very well-made complements the truck well. One downfall that I expect is from the factory is when they rolled up the mat for shipping they rolled it from the front I wish they reverse rolled it and you can just roll it from the tailgate to the cab. All in all very satisfied ,great product would recommend it.
Perfect fit, and a very heavy duty mat.
This rascal is not light, and comes rolled up real tight. The temperatures here when it was delivered were in the single digits, so if was pretty stiff and difficult to handle until it spent the night indoors to warm up.
It has a very nice texture which is not slippery when wet like a bare metal truck bed can be.
