Today we got a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado, and we're going to be doing a test fit on the Dee Zee custom-fit truck-bed mat, part number DZ87009.When you first get your Dee Zee truck-bed mat, it's going to be rolled up like this. It's going to be packaged up, wrapped up however they do in the manufacturing plant. We've gone ahead and taken all that off. But we wanted to point out real quick that when you unroll it, it is going to have a bit of warp to it because it was originally sent to you like this, and it's probably been rolled up for a good amount of time. It's going to level itself out in your truck bed, or if you want to lie it on your concrete first, the sun heats up the rubber and then it just flattens to whatever surface that it's on.Now we'll go ahead and show you how easy it is to install. We're just going to take the front side and roll it up here.
First you want to make sure that you have it facing the right direction. Pretty easy to tell 'cause the shorter end's up here, and gonna fit better. There we go. Just like that. I'm going to push it up a bit, just personal preference.
If you would rather have it tucked in the back of your Chevy you can pull it back like that or you can push it up to the front. There's only about a quarter of an inch space right there.From there you're ready to use it, load it up with whatever you might want to do with it. It's a very heavy duty mat. Its rubber is 3/8" thick. It's very thick, it's going to be very heavy duty and hold up and last for a long time.
It's great for trucks with these bare beds like this because it protects your truck-bed from any type of scratches or dings. At the end of the day if you just way to put the tools in the bed of your truck, it's going to absorb that shock and protect your truck-bed.It's also going to be slip resistant, so if you put your toolbox back here, or a cooler, whatever you might have, sometimes in these bare beds when it's just the frame of the truck and you all of a sudden have to stop or maybe you have to accelerate all of a sudden the toolbox or the cooler can shift and maybe crash into the wall. Maybe the tools spill out or your cooler opens up. Anything like that could happen. With this rubber material, with the toolbox and cooler sitting on it, it's not going to move hardly at all if you have to make a sudden stop.You can also drive with the tailgate down because of this nib system they have on the back.
You can see all of these bumps all along the backside of the mat. That's what's going to help keep the mat in place, especially when you have weight on it. The mat's not going to shift around at all. And if you got a longer item that you're hauling and you have to have your tailgate down, then that's going to be just fine.It's very easy to clean. Just take a power-washer or hose to it, spray it right off, and then you're good to go. Other than that, that'll do it for our look at a Dee Zee custom-fit truck-bed mat on our 2019 Chevrolet Colorado.

Can't believe I've had this mat for a year. It rolled out well and provided the friction and added height to support our DIY drawer system to manage our ice chest and food bins. Mat is still in great condition and easy to lift to sweep out any debris that may find its way underneath. I like the MN at because it allows me to upgrade the bed walls with molle panel (future project). Thanks again!

The bed mat fits perfectly and I really like the thickness of the material. Also, it is rubber based and not plastic. It has a natural grip that prevents cargo from sliding in the bed.

This bed mad is quite heavy and durable. I like how there's no need to drill into the bed for installation. Just drop it in and go! It evens the floor of the bed out nicely so loading items is super easy and they don't slide around.

Arrived sooner than expected. Thanks. Great condition, just like one I used years ago for hauling stone, coal, cement blocks, etc. Could never even marked it with a shovel edge. Same item.these are incredibly durable. They do have an odor when new, just like new tires. This will dissipate in a few weeks, a normal condition, since made of tire rubber. Not completely flat when rolled out. Place it out in the sun a few hours. Then reroll backwards prior to installation. roll up front first, back last, so it rolls almost perfectly in place. The fit is good, about an inch all around. Mine was over a spray in bed liner. Plenty thick, and heavy.
After receiving an email from etrailer explaining that my order would not be ready to ship for two to three weeks they kindly asked if that was okay with me or would I prefer to cancel. It also promised that if I wished to leave the order pending they would remain in touch and keep an eye on it and update me on the status. I decided to continue with the order and it arrived at my front door only one week later.
The product is very heavy duty and fits like a glove as you can y the photos. It also has a very sticky feeling surface that should keep most cargo pretty much in place.
But the real reason I am sending in this evaluation is not so much the product as it is etrailer and the way they do business. I have to say that anyone selling products on the internet should take lessons from etrailer and their staff. Their website gives tons of information on each product and the how-to videos are excellent. You know exactly what you are ordering and their customer service is the best I have ever encountered. I will be coming back the next time I need something for my truck or trailer.

Although this mat was cataloged for the previous generation Frontier, with just a little trimming at the tailgate and the left side wheel well (shown in photos), it fit well in my 2022 with the 6 foot bed!
