Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Truxedo B-Light LED strip light. This 36 inch long, super bright LED light strip can be installed anywhere where you need some extra light. So, this would be ideal for your truck bed, especially if you have a tonneau cover or a camper shell installed. It'd be great for a toolbox storage compartment, maybe on your camper or trailer or RV. Or you could even place it above your workstation for some overhead lighting in your garage. So, it's a nice versatile system that is just gonna provide some of that light that's needed for your application.Features this control box right here.
This is where the batteries install. It's got the push button switch. Turns the light on, double click, turns it off, and it will automatically shut off after five minutes, so it has a nice battery saving design.Again, it runs off of three AA batteries. Those batteries are not included, so they will need to be provided separately. It's a full LED system, so it features long lasting LEDs that eliminates the need to change bulbs.
And this is a very flexible material, so it allows the light to bend and contour to any surface. It's got a nice weatherproof housing on it that protects the lights from the elements. And it will safely mount beneath truck bed rails, which would really help protect the lights from loose cargo.On the backside, it has a nice peel and stick 3M adhesive design to it. No wiring's required. It's all contained right here, so the only wiring you're seeing is the wiring coming from the battery box to the actual light strip.This battery box, we'll go over some measurements real quick.
It also has adhesive backing on the backside of it, but it has these two holes, one on each side, where you could use some small hardware and get it installed, maybe a permanent mount installation if you wanted to choose that option. But it odes have the peel and stick design to it. So, if we take a measurement edge to edge going this direction, we're looking at a measurement of about three and 11 sixteenths of an inch. Edge to edge this direction, we're looking at two and a half inches. And then the thickness, it's only about seven eighths of an inch thick.
The actual strip area for the LED lights measures 36 inches long and then the wiring that connects the strip to the box measures about nine inches long. And this strip contains a total of 54 LEDs.So, we're gonna go ahead and turn it back on. We'll also turn off our overhead lights so you can see it in a low light setting. So, it sends out a nice consistent signal and really provides some bright light output. Again, a total of 54 LEDs, nice bright white design to it. And it's gonna do a great job at illuminating a darker space or a low lit area.That's gonna do it for today's look at the Truxedo B-Light LED light strip.

Liked the first one I bought, I had to add another to my truck bed. Easy install, and I had no wiring to hook up. Nice, and bright, and the auto shut off is a great feature so you wont wear down the batteries if you forget to turn it off.

Had them on my tonneau cover and they are still working fine for the last 6 years
Works great. Easy install. Very happy.
I will begin by saying that the lights work exactly as described and produce sufficient light to illuminate the bed of my truck. I do have (2) of the light strips, one each mounted under each of the side rails of my Bak Flip tonneau cover. The double sided tape that is included on the light strip portion of the lights is horrible. It does not want to separate (to expose the sticky side) and on each of mine, it pulled off of the strip completely and I had to wrestle with it to make it work. This needs to be addressed as these are not inexpensive lights. Overall I am very satisfied with the lights and they are a decent value...and they are one of very few battery powered options you can choose from.
These work out great in my truck bed. They are extremely bright and light up the bed beautifully. I bought two one for each side because if you have something tall in the middle it blocks the light from the rest of the bed. I also bought three of these for my enclosed trailer. I attached them to the roof toward the front, the middle and near the back to add some extra light in the trailer. Great product.

The website was/is easy to use and provided a lot of detailed information for the truck bed lighting kit I purchased.
The box arrived undamaged however it will not be opened until Christmas to view the product.
Works great. The only issue I had was with the screws that were sent. They would penetrate the metal. So went and got self drill screws.
The light is very bright. It was installed on the inside of my 3/4 ton P.U. truck bed over a week ago and the 3M adhesive is doing it's job. With all of the bouncing around from driving it has not moved.
when I peeled off paper of off light strip glue strip came off also, batteries hard to keep in place.
Good lighting. The tape backing came off half way and could not peel the rest. Other than that I am satisfied. Just have to see how long the on/off switch lasts.
Makes seeing into the back of the truck great at night and in the winter when it's dark by 4:30 in the afternoon where I am from just getting things out they work great. Best thing I added to my truck. Along with other accessories.
This is the second one I installed in my truck bed, best prices on the web.
Delivery was fast! No issues thus far. Product is a Christmas gift so not currently installed but excited for this to happen.
They look good. but I have not hooked them up yet to give a fair review. Their are four lights on each side.
The directions say wire direct to battery, but I will find another source close by.

Haven’t used the second set I bought very much but the first. Set I bought in 2017 for my Diamondback cover still work great with the original battery
