With the SuperHitch Original's 2 receivers, you can tow a trailer and carry a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. And if you have a truck bed camper, this hitch has pre-drilled mounting points for TorkLift's super-sturdy camper tie-towns (sold separately). You can also add one of TorkLift's SuperTruss hitch extensions (sold separately) to extend the top receiver of the SuperHitch so that it clears your camper, allowing you to tow your trailer while your camper's installed.

Truck Bed Camper Compatibility

TorkLift is known for their truck camper tie-down systems and other camper accessories, so it just makes sense that they would have camper enthusiasts in mind when designing a trailer hitch. Each SuperHitch is built with integrated mounting points for TorkLift camper tie-downs, making it easier than ever to get a quality tie-down system for your slide-in camper.

TorkLift SuperTruss in SuperHitch

The dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch also makes it easy to tow with your truck bed camper in place. The SuperTruss line of high-capacity hitch extenders is specially designed to extend the hitch receiver back far enough to clear your bed-mounted camper, while still allowing for an excellent towing capacity. An ordinary hitch extender can dramatically reduce your towing capacity. But each SuperTruss extension forms such a solid connection with the SuperHitch that the setup is able to maintain one of the highest weight capacities in the industry. When used with a standard weight distribution system, the setup can maintain up to a 10,000-lb weight limit, even with an extension that is 60" long. As a result, you can clear almost any truck bed camper and still do some heavy-duty towing.

Dual Receivers for Maximum Versatility

With the SuperHitch from TorkLift, you can tow your trailer and use a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier at the same time. This is thanks to the dual-receiver design of the SuperHitch.

Most trailer hitches have a single receiver. Typically, you can find an adapter or extension piece that will slide into your hitch to give you 2 receivers, but these adapters dramatically reduce both your towing capacity and your tongue weight, limiting how much you can tow, as well as how much you can carry with a bike rack or cargo carrier. Each SuperHitch is specially constructed to maintain a high weight capacity so that you can use the 2 receivers without sacrificing towing or carrying ability.

Imagine the year is 2024, the time of AI and CNC programming. What wonders the world holds!!!! Execpt....this hitch. Specifically, the included instructions. Seriously.... they look like a copy made of a fax that was transmitted with a telegraph.
I referenced the pics on e-trailer and figured the rest out. Also noteworthy is that my installation was for a truck with a utility bed, so the factory mount holes (although aligned perfectly) and no-so-detailed instructions weren't of much help any ways. Regardless, this hitch is a BEAST and worth every penny.
My ONLY recommendation would be to make the instructions, specifically the pictures, on a softer, two-ply material so at least they can serve some usefulness.

Could not be happier with the quick service I received from etrailer and outstanding product I purchased. The install was a breeze with the easy to follow instructions and I am now able to stay wherever it is I am playing! Thanks for the great prices and good service ??

  • Correct TorkLift Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2020 Ram 3500
The correct TorkLift Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2020 Ram 3500 is the SuperHitch Magnum part # TLD1111-30. The SuperHitch Magnum is the only option available for a 2020 Ram 3500. The TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver is not an option unfortunately. I have attached a list of available TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extensions below.

  • Hitch Extender Rated for 6,000 Pounds at 24 Inches Long for a 2016 GMC Sierra
There is a 24 inch long hitch extender that is rated for 6,000 pounds or more but you would have to install a different trailer hitch on your truck. Specifically it will need to be a Tork Lift SuperHitch Original or Magnum. These hitches are available for the 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 but not the 1500. For a 2500/3500 and long bed you can use # TLC1211. For a short bed use # TLC1212. Then you will be able to use TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1524. This extension when used...

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2" part # C15460 that you looked at is a replacement hitch meaning it will take the place of your current factory hitch. For a dual reciever tube opening you want to use the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - Dual 2" Receivers part # TLC1211 . This is also a custom fit hitch that will not require any modifications to be made to the vehicle. I have linked the hitch below along with a video...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch and/or Extension for 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 with Service Body
For your 2017 GMC 2500, the service body issue isn't solved with just a hitch swap. Instead you will need a long ball mount like # BM20 or a hitch extender for the additional clearance needed. The addition of a hitch extender will reduce your hitch capacity by 50% unless you are using the Torklift Supertruss system. If you have a heavy trailer, I recommend using the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - Dual 2" Receivers # TLC1211 which is compatible...

We offer the dual 2- and 2-1/2-inch Tork-Lift hitch # TLC1211-30, rated for 20K, that fits your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 with 8-foot bed. We also have the single 2-inch receiver # TLC1211 that is rated for 17K. These and all other confirmed hitch fits for your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 with 8-foot bed are shown on the linked page.

  • Hitch Extender for a Travel Trailer with 12,000 Gross Vehicle Weight Rating GVWR
The only hitch extender we have that will work for you is the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension. The shortest extension they offer is part # TLE1521 which measures 21" long. The issue is the weight of your trailer and 50% reduction from the adapter. In order to use the SuperTruss you will also need the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver part # TLC1212 if you have a 6-1/2' bed or part # TLC1211 if you have an 8' bed.

  • How Does Install of Torklift Trailer Hitch # TLC1211 Take to Install
The install of the Torklift Trailer Hitch part # TLC1211 is listed as taking 1 hour to install. Torklift camper tie downs normally take an hour or so to install. That includes the tie down install/removal as well.

  • Correct TorkLift Rear Camper Tie-Downs for 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 with SuperHitch Installed
When replacing the factory hitch on your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 with the TorkLift SuperHitch # TLC1211 you will indeed need to also replace the rear TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs. I confirmed this with my contact at TorkLift. For your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 Dually with the 8 foot bed the correct rear tie-downs to match the new SuperHitch is the part # TLC3216 or # TLC3216A for the aluminum version that will be resistant to corrosion. The front tie-downs do not need to be changed.

There is really only one solution I recommend that will work for your desire to pull a trailer with the tailgate down. I recommend removing your Class V hitch and replacing it with the TorkLift SuperHitch # TLC1211. This would need to be used with a factory hitch and the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension for SuperHitch Trailer Hitch Receivers - 36" Long # TLE1536 to clear your tailgate. There are wiring extensions available as well like the 36 inch # TLW6036. There are different SuperTruss...

  • Hitch and Extension Recommendation for 2017 GMC Sierra Long Bed With Truck Bed Camper
With a 10-1/2 foot long camper, you'll want a 32 inch extension. The # TLE1648 TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension you'd looked at is only compatible with the Ford OEM 3 inch receiver hitch. The best solution for you will depend on the weight of what you're towing. If a 4500 lb towing (6000 lb if used with weight distribution) capacity will work for you and your Sierra has a 2-1/2 inch hitch, the Reese Titan Hitch Extension, part # RP45292 would be recommended. For a higher capacity, you'd...

  • Recommended Weight Distribution & Hitch Extender to Towing a Camper and Trailer with 2015 Chevy 3500
For your situation, I cannot recommend you use a hitch extender like # ST18 and a longer weight distribution shank, but I do have a couple solutions for you. A hitch extender like # ST18, will not be able to support the weight of your trailer and weight distribution system. This extender maxes out at 700lbs TW when used with a weight distribution system which we have figured your trailer alone will have max 600-900lbs when loaded and you have to account for the weight of the system which...

To find the right TorkLift receiver that will allow you to use a 48" TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1548 you need to determine what bed length you have as well as what the maximum weight is that you would use the receiver to tow. 6-1/2' Bed...

I do have options for you but you cannot install two of part # C45796 together to get a total of 36". Doing so would completely diminish your trailer hitches weight capacity. The most cost effective solution I have for you would be to use part # RP45292 for 24"-34". However, this option is only 34" max lenth and will require a 2-1/2" trailer hitch receiver like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15860.
