As I saw in another review, the fish wire included with this could stand to be about 6 inches longer. Luckily I had some wire around with roughly the same stiffness that I just electrical taped to the included wire.
I also had to bore the drilled holes out a little bit to get the bolts through. Considering you have to get them through at a slight angle, a perfectly sized hole wasn't big enough.
Otherwise, it seems to be really nice and sturdy so far. I got mine for use with a Rhode Gear Highway 2 (also purchased here at etrailer) and had no troubles with the two connecting up.

2004 Chevrolet Aveo
worked great for my 2004 chevy aveo hatchback. install was more involved than diagrams showed. bolts needed to be 1/8" shorter, blocks needed bigger hole to allow bolt to get through the drilled holes.

Great hitch for my Aveo and was a perfect fit. The only issue with installing this was fishing the bolts and plates through the bumper. I am A fairly experienced home garage mechanic wanna be and I found this to be extremely hard and frustrating. The instructions for fishing the parts through were useless as was the online video. One fish wire was included, needed two as the first got ruined during the first attempt. In the beginning I almost gave up but eventually I got it. Now that it's done I love it. Give yourself A day to put on and smile when done.

The hitch and plug in wiring was an easy project by following the directions. The feed back on the short fish wire saved me a lot of time[used welder wire with electric tape to lengthen]. Am going to use the hitch to pull a light weight trailer hauling three kayaks.

The over all quality of this receiver is excellent. But, the only frustrating part is the "fishing line" used to pull the bolt and lock plate through the bumper to the drilled hole. The "line" provided wasn't long enough. I had to attach coat hanger wire to get the length required. And then pull all the hardware through the bumper. That was extremely frustrating. And I am very mechanically inclined. But now it is installed and the fit is excellent. Just provide about a foot of extra line!

Thanks for your review! It looks like some of the other comments mention having a similar issue as you. If you try using some of their tips, like tilting the bolts slightly or making the holes a little bigger, you should be able to install this hitch, as it is a fit for your vehicle.
