Have had this on my truck for a year and it’s working great. Am using it to get my RV backed into a tight spot.

I feel that CURT is the BEST brand of hitch and hitch products to purchase and purchasing from etrailer.com is the route to go every time.

My class 3 Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver arrived from etrailer before due date and was boxed. The box did have a few puncture holes. The Hitch itself was overall in good shape with the exception of a couple of scrapes. So I ordered some metal spray paint to recondition these spots to prevent the chance of rust. The metal scrapes probably happened during shipment. It seems to be common. All that said etrailer is still my preferred choice for purchasing this type of equipment. Amazon sent the same product unboxed with more severe metal scrapings. I returned it. New products should not be compromised just because they were shipped. My etrailer product was packaged well and did include the hardware. I would still buy from them.1624106

stacy (daisy) was amazing in making sure this hitch worked on my 2021 ram classic that came from factory with tow package and no hitch .she obviously went above and beyond her duties making sure hitch was shipped so would arrive friday , i could install ,get customer vehicle out on time . ups delivered missouri to va/nc and delivered on second day . dropped the cross member ,bolted up hitch ,bolted up cross member and bumper . out the door, stacy and your team i thank you . the curt hitch is first class as well as etrailer. thanks1169494

great ,on my 2019 5.7 ram 4x4 .came from factory with no hitch.towing 28 ft. camper and 18 ft. featherlite car hauler .last week with a 5000lb.1961 lincoln thru virginia mountains .no problems , great product and service. thank yall .

2nd Curt hitch I have bought. They make very nice looking, sturdy hitches. Took about an hour to install because you have to fish the bolts and backing plates through the frame. Not the hitches fault, just how ram designed their frame. Found it for cheaper at etrailers.com than I could find [on-line retailer]. Amazingly fast free shipping. Showed up in 2 days.696022

2016 Ram 1500

The fact that the hitch was setup for my truck, rather than a generic hitch that I had to make fit, made the instillation much easier and stronger hold. I mainly haul my lawnmower on my smaller trailer with it, but even when I haul bigger loads on my big trailer, you don’t feel any jerky, loose motion. I would definitely recommend it. etrailer’s ease of ordering for my specific truck and quick turn around time in receiving it was great. Not to mention it saved me $38, as opposed to buying it from a local dealer. I purchased a hitch and wiring kit for our SUV a few years back. Both experiences couldn’t have gone better, and will definitely use them for any further needs.526768

It's been one year since I installed the hitch. Installation was easy. I really liked the instructions and everything fell into place once I watched the video through the e trailer website. Great Hitch - Installed easily on my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. The quality is great. I was a little leary with ordering online, but was very pleased with how heavy duty this hitch is, and the hardware that came with it is top notch. The website has a detailed installation video that is WELL WORTH watching. It made my installation a breeze.
(NOTE - I did not need to remove my spare tire. I can how doing so would make the install a bit easier, but it is not required.)831519

Went on very well! You don't have to remove the spare tire. You just remove the factory back bolts, hang the hitch in place with the factory back bolts back in loose. Install the bolts & hardware sent with the kit and tighten everything up snug & then torque.1008252

I cannot give this a 5 because it was very difficult to install...but I did it. It was not made correctly from the factory and was about 1/2 inch bent. Everything was fine except it took blood (really), sweat (a great deal) and tears (bolt took me in the lip and my brother had skin torn from his finger) because it was towed in about 1/4 inch on both sides. Once we got it torched out everything fit into place. The video for installation was very worthwhile. Ultimately, it all worked out. Just installed today so I cannot comment on how it performs. I do believe it was the correct product for my 2018 Ram and I am confident it is going to work out ok. Hope so...towing a RZR to NY Friday!787100

Super easy to install with basic tools. Took me a little longer since I didn't remove the spare. You will need to lower it to get the torque wrench on but that's all. Came packaged in a nice heavy duty box. Very simple instructions. Will continue to make purchases from etrailer.com highly recommend. 794797
