These telescoping towing mirrors replace your OEM side-view mirrors and provide the extended view needed for safe towing. Now you can change lanes, merge, and pass other cars with confidence, even with a trailer in tow.
The mirror face on each custom mirror can be pulled out to give you an extended field of vision for towing. Simply push the mirrors back for regular use.
The entire housing of each mirror conveniently folds toward your vehicle for easy parking or maneuvering in tight spaces.

Today we're going to take a look at the K Source Custom electric driver's and passenger side extendable towing mirrors. These are a custom fit part, they are designed to fit the 2009 to 2014 Ford Van with the non-heated power mirrors. Now anytime on a custom fit part I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year, model, vehicle and it will show you if these will work for your application. These are an extendable towing mirror which will replace the factory side view mirrors on your vehicle so there's no need for any of the towing snap on or strap on mirrors that you constantly have to put on or take off. Both these mirrors have the telescoping function right here which will make it easy to see around the side of your trailer so that you can safely change lanes, pass, or park. Basically, all you have to do is manually just pull the mirror out away from your vehicle and extend your line of sight by about three inches and then when you're done you just go ahead and push them right back into place when you're not towing. Now the top portion of the large mirror is a power mirror adjustment. It will let you change your mirror face position with the factory control inside your vehicle.
The very small mirror you can see at the bottom of the mirror itself, that is a built in spotter mirror. That reduces a lot of your blind spots and that one is a manual adjustment so that one you do have to use your hand to adjust that one. Both these mirrors have a hinged design which allows the mirrors to fold up against the vehicle for when you're parking or for fitting into tight spaces. The mirrors are a durable plastic housing, have a nice textured black finish to them and as I mentioned they are custom designed to provide a perfect, secure fit for your vehicle. They are a simple, no drill installation. If you can see right here, they do use the same footprint and mounting points as your factor mirrors.
They do come with new foam gaskets for installation and even the mounting hardware for them. If you notice, they each have a plug. THey're designed to plug into your factory connection for the electric function of the mirror. Now this part includes both the driver's side and the passenger side mirrors. I do want to give you some measurements on these. We're going to measure the face of them mirror itself.
The dual face mirror right here, we're going to measure the width and the overall height including the spotter mirror. If I put a ruler on the mirror portion it's right at seven inches wide and again the height including the spotter mirror is going to be right at eleven inches tall. Now the retracted length, like this one, it's pushed all the way in towards the vehicle. The retracted length measures from here to here as seventeen and a half inches. When you pull this out, the extra three inches, your extended length would be twenty and a half inches. One last note on these mirrors, I do want to mention that you can not upgrade to a power mirror if your OE or factory mirror is not already equipped with that function. I bought these in anticipation of someday pulling a trailer and also because someone hit my drivers side mirror and they stopped and paid me for replacement!
The upon arrival I was impressed with the shipping and packaging, the instructions and ease of installation was great too! I installed the drivers side first and did the passenger side a few weeks later, probably should’ve upgraded my speakers at the same time.
The initial install of the drivers side was great, I now fold it in when parked on the street. Upon installing the passenger side I notice a different viewing experience or field of vision vs the stock unit, this one feels narrower in view, also the power adjust doesn’t adjust the convex mirror. Also the viewing height of the convex isn’t as desirable as I’d like. A short sedan relight next to be or a high SUV in my blind spot can’t both be seen or adjusted for ibread online where someone installed a long oval convex mirror they bought at a truck setup over the half curved one that comes with the unit.
All in all I’d say it’s a fair value and I didn’t see any on the market that I would’ve rather have had.

I put these on my 2010 E350 van. Excellent product! Better mirrors than stock mirrors. Better quality and more sturdy than stock mirrors. Fairly easy to install and extend when needed for seeing your trailer, especially on the passenger side, no need to add "strap on mirrors. worth the money at a very fair price(much less expense than the dealer). I highly recommend.

JAMIE WAS ON TOP OF HER GAME FOR MY ORDER LATER THE SAME DAY I CALLED BACK AND MADE ANOTHER LARGE ORDER AND ONCE AGAIN JAMIE ON TOP OF HER GAME FINDING EXACTLY WHAT I WAS AFTER. I ordered on a Monday, it was promised by Thursday, and it came on Wednesday!! They fit perfectly!!
The K Source mirrors fit like factory, and have worked well for the past year. My only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that the passenger side has a narrow view, in my opinion. The etrailer recommendation was very good and saved me over $200 from factory prices.
I bought these to replace the original equipment on an Econoline F350 van. They were very easy to install and greatly improve visibility when hauling our travel trailer. I highly recommend them and would purchase them again.
