Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the K-Source Snap & Zap driver's and passenger side custom towing mirrors. Now these are a custom fit part. They are designed to fit the 2022 and newer Toyota Tundra vehicles and the 2023 and newer Toyota Sequoia vehicles. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website and use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now these towing mirrors are designed to snap over the backs of your factory side view mirrors to extend the line of sight, gives you an expanded view of the road in your trailer, and it'll even allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass, or park.
The mirror on it is a manually adjustable mirror face that'll let you customize your view. And the custom design on this matches the contours of your existing mirrors so it prevents any vibration and wind noise, provides a nice secure fit for the vehicle. These add-on mirrors will retain the use of factory mirror features such as turn signals, puddle lamps, LED spotlights, and even blind spot detection cameras. They do not obstruct the factory mirror faces and do not interfere with adjustments to the factory mirrors. Now one note I do wanna mention, these snap on towing mirrors will not fit OEM extendable mirrors.
The glass on it is an OE grade convex glass on both mirrors with first surface plating, reflects clear images. Front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome, and it has a convex lens to provide a nice wide angle view that reduces blind spots. And the installation, it's an easy tool-free installation and removal. There's no hardware required. These built in mounting clips right here, you can see one at the bottom, one at the top here, these will grab the inside edges of your factory mirrors.
The bottom tabs can be pushed in to remove the mirrors for garage storage or fitting into tight parking spaces. The housing on it is a black plastic housing, provides a nice clean look, resists rust and corrosion. These are Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard approved. It is for a quantity of two mirrors. Overall length from this end to this end is about 17 inches.
The mirror itself is about widthwise 3 1/2 inches and about seven inches tall. And if you notice, they do include this nice storage bag that when you're not installed onto your vehicle, you can store them in there, keep them from getting damaged. And what's nice about the storage bag, it has in the middle, it's hard to see, but there is a sheet in the middle so when you put them in each side, they won't rub up against each other. So basically, you can put one in the bottom, you can lift up that sheet, slide one in the bottom, just like that. And then let's make sure the sheet's over that, and then take your other one and slide that into the top. And again, that sheet separates them so they don't get scratched. And then you just take your pull string on both ends, pull it all the way tight and just like that, you'll have them all in the storage bag to keep them all in one place. I received these June 12th 2024, after pre-ordering them, so these are early production examples. I have yet to use these mirrors towing, however, I have experience with tow mirrors previously, these fit better than previous K-source mirrors I have owned, and provide an excellent view.
Based on initial impression these are great looking and fitting mirrors. I like how there is a clear window for the signal lights in the OEM mirrors to show through. I prefer the OEM mirrors when not towing as they are not so huge. These are easy to attach when needed and even have a great storage bag supplied when not in use.
Great fit. Sturdy. Easy to remove when not needed. Keeps all the camera views visible and auto fold in still works! Glad I got them!!
Product works great, really easy to install. Visibility is great and it still allows my mirrors to fold in on my 2024 tundra, and doesn't block the camera view either. However the box was severely damaged by the time it showed up, luckily the mirrors were still in good working condition.
Well, I finally received my product. I was very surprised that the mirrors were not broken because the box that they came in was destroyed, but the mirror seemed OK.

please ship in a better box the manufactures box is not meant for our new level of delivery people. the box was completely broken down. Someone taped it together so as not to loose the contents. Very lucky nothing was damaged
