Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror for the driver's side of your vehicle. This product fits certain years and models of the Ford F-150. To ensure that this is a fit for your vehicle you can use the vehicle fit guide at etrailer.com. The extendable towing mirror replaces the factory side view mirror on your vehicle. With this install there's no need for snap-on or strap-on mirrors that you constantly have to put on and take off. It features a telescoping function that makes it very easy to see around the side of your trailer so you can safely change lanes, pass and park.

All you have to do is pull the mirror away from your vehicle to extend your line of sight. And then when you're not towing, just push the mirror back into place. And that's all there is to it. It's a nice, easy design. Very easy to use and operate.

The unit also features power mirror adjustment. That's going to let you change the mirror face position using the factory power controls from within the vehicle. Also, it has the heated mirror glass, which clears frost and ice and reduces fogging.On the bottom we have the amber light. This lights up when the turn signal is activated. Now on the very bottom we have the built-in puddle lamp, which illuminates the area directly under the mirror.

On the bottom we have the built-in spotter mirror that's designed to reduce blind spots. And the mirror sits on a hinge design right here. That's going to allow you to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tighter spaces. When it comes to the housing, it's a nice, durable plastic construction with a textured black finish. It's going to match your vehicle perfectly.

This unit is custom fit for your vehicle. And it's a simple, no drill installation. It uses the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror. And it plugs into your existing electrical wiring.Now a few measurements that we did for you. The first one that we took a measurement of the actual mirror face. Side to side, the mirror face is 8" wide by 6-1/4" tall. The spotter mirror height is 3" tall. The distance from the edge of the mirror to the vehicle once it's installed, retracted is 19", extending is 22-1/2". This product is FMVSS approved. Just keep in mind that the power mount capability, heated glass, turn signal and puddle lamp on the mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
