Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source replacement side-view mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side side-view mirror on your 1987 through 1995 Nissan Pathfinder, as well as your 1986 through 1997 Nissan Pickup, both the SE and XE models and your 1986 through 1988 Nissan Pickup E model. This is modeled after your Nissan's original look and fit. So you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is a replacement mirror.

It should look like it came with your vehicle right from the factory. So you don't have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard kind of look, it should look like everything came together as one.This is going to have the manual mirror face adjustment, so you can adjust the mirror to whatever angle you need to properly see what's coming up behind you or as you're backing up, make sure that you're going to be safe. This does feature OE-grade components. So it's going to be the same high-quality materials as the original. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome to help make you aware of everything that's going around, to give you a nice clear image.

It does have a convex lens, like most of your passenger side mirrors do. So it's going to give you a slight bubble to help increase the wide-angle view and reduce those blind spots. So it's going to give you a nice clear image of everything that's coming up on your passenger side.It does have the breakaway design. So if you we're to bump into a post or the side of your garage or something like that, the mirror is going to fold in on itself to try and help reduce the amount of damage to the mirror housing, absorb some of that impact. But it does have a very durable plastic housing.

So it should hold up well. It's got a nice black finish to it. This does install very easily. It's the same footprint as the original. So you're not going to have to drill any new holes or anything like that.

Basically just take the old mirror out, put this one in its place, tighten down your bolts there and you're ready to go.Now for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance, that this is going to be the mirror that you need. This is going to be an exact replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if you open up your owner's manual, you see that number.
