Michael: Hi there I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the K-Source side-view mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your 1988 through 2000 Chevrolet C/K series and GMC C/K series pickup trucks. It's also going to replace the passenger side mirror on your 2000 through 2002 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado.This is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit, so you really shouldn't be able to tell that this is the replacement mirror, it should look like it came with your vehicle right from the factory. It does have the same mounting points and footprint. So you're not going to have to drill any new holes or anything like that.

It is going to fit the exact same way as the original. So basically all you have to do is pull that original one off, put this one in its place, and you're ready to go.This is compatible with the manual mirror face adjustment that you have in your vehicle already. Now this does come with the mirror detached so that you can feed your cable through the backside here, and get it connected there, so that you can use that joystick inside your vehicle to adjust the mirror face position to whichever angle you need it to be.This is an OE grade product. So it's going to be the same quality materials as the original. The front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, so it's going to give you a nice clear image of anything that's coming up behind you, or as you're backing up, make sure that you are being safe.

It does have a convex lens, like most of your passenger side mirrors do these days, to help reduce blind spots so that you can see more clearly everything that's on your passenger side. It does have a durable plastic housing with a black finish, so it's going to hold up well, make sure that bugs, and those sorts of things, as they hit it, it's going to resist those and still look nice for a long time.Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for you, this is an exact replacement for the original equipment number that you see on the screen there. So if you're going through your owner's manual or you're taking your original passenger side mirror off and you see that number that's on the screen, you can trust this is the replacement piece that you need. And keep in mind, this is just the passenger side. If you need the driver's side as well, we also have that available here at etrailer.com using the part number that you see on the screen there.
