Today our 2012 Honda Ridgeline. We are going to review an install, the WeatherTech Sunroof Wind Deflector part number WT89103. Now, with the wind deflector installed, once we are traveling, especially at highway speeds, this is going to send that wind up and over the sunroof, so it's going to reduce that wind noise inside when our sunroof is open. Here on the inside, the wind deflector as got a nice tint, so it will deflect for many excessive sun rays that might be coming in at us and with the wind visor installed it will not interfere with the operation of our sunroof, whether that be with the sunroof open, closed, or in the tilt position. There's closed, let's go to open, close again and the tilt position is the back end goes up. Now yo begin our install, we've already got out sunroof open. We are going to set out wind deflector in place. We are going to make sure it's even on both sides and square to the sunroof. Now, our wind deflector is going to have two attachment points, these attachment points are pre-drilled holes, one for each side.
Pre-drilled hole will get a washer and screw that will go down through it. Now, I will move to the inside. On the inside we are going to have a metal hook and fastener for the screw. We will go ahead and attach the two together by sliding the metal hook into the fastener and that will accept the screw that comes down through the wind deflector. We'll hold the guard down, we can see the metal lip that's goes along the outside of our sunroof. We'll hook onto the metal lip and then line up with our screw fastener.
Once we have the two lined up, simply take the screw and run it into the fastener. Once we get the screw started we are going to turn it in to snug it up a little bit, but we are not going to fully tighten it just yet. We push down on the sunroof guard, we can get our metal hook in place. Now, we will have to hold the clip in place while we take our screwdriver and run the screw into the fastener. Now, once we've got our fasteners started we want to make sure that the wind deflector is square and even with the sunroof, meaning that both sides are equal and it's even straight across with the front of the sunroof. Then, once you've got it in place fully tighten it down.
We'll tighten it down until our fastener is flat with the wind deflector. Now, with everything installed we are ready to hit the road. That will do it for the review and install of the WeatherTech Sunroof Wind Deflector part number WT89103 on our 2012 Honda Ridgeline. .

Reduce in-cabin wind noise and air turbulence with this tinted rain guard for your vehicle's sunroof.I love it. I can have the moon roof to be open without a lot of air to come in. The only thing I wished was if it was longer to cover more of the opening.
Fits perfectly. Excellent product.
The WeatherTech Sunroof Wind Deflector works perfectly on my Honda Pilot.
I have a 2015 Toyota Rav4 it works perfect. Since my speaker phone is right next to the sunroof there was a bunch of noise if the sunroof was open. This product looks good fits perfect and really helps with the noise level. Love it!
The wind deflector is great! Very happy with purchase 1 year in. It amazes me how much wind noise it cuts down when the sunroof is open.
Super fast delivery. Installation took no time at all, instructions were easy to understand.
easy install, looks good, makes things quieter with the sunroof open on my 2015 Accord
Easy to install, sturdy, does the job. The only complaint is that the shield creates a noise as it diverts air. It's not bothersome, and probably the nature of its intent.
Received the product quickly. Site was easy to navigate and helpful to view questions others had. My brother was able to hook it up in under an hour. I'm ready to roll!
Installed fairly easily and I think it has made wind noise a bit quieter.
Easy to work with and does exactly what it was designed to do, good guality product.
