By keeping your tires covered, it'll prevent the sidewall from prematurely cracking and causing a blowout on the highway. This will extend the life of your tires, so you won't have to unexpectedly budget in a costly tire replacement.
These covers are quick and easy to install. It's recommended to lay the covers in the sun for a few minutes, which will let the material expand slightly, so it'll fit over your tires more easily. Once the covers are in place on your tires, the soft interior lining won't damage your wheels' paint job.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Classics Accessories line of tandem wheel or two wheel RV tire covers. As you can see, we've got a nice water resistant vinyl cover here. This is going to protect our tires from any kind of dirt, any kind of sun bleaching that we might experience, or anything like that while we've got our RV stored. Also these are really nice for on the campsite. Place them over your wheels and it kind of cleans up the look of everything and makes it a little bit nicer. As you can see, on the back side we've got a nice scratch resistant coating on there so we're not going to have to worry about scratching or doing any kind of damage to our wheels or tires. Both sides here on the front and also on the rear, they offer a grommet.
This is going to allow you to attach a bungee cord or whatever other type of material that you like. Pull that around and secure it in the rear to get a nice firm hold. We're here on the other side of our camper. We want to show you how to get these installed. As you can see, we've got a nice elastic material here. That's going to allow us to fit them right up over the tire.
Then when we release it, it gets a good snug hold. We'll bring our cover right here at the divide where the elastic meets the part that runs downward. That's going to be that angle or that spot you want to have right on the front corner of your tire here. Just sort of guide that up and around. As you can see, even in a really tight fit situation we've got no problem in getting these up and over our tires. They really fit in there nice and they don't take up a lot of room.
We'll just stretch that there. As you can see, it really stretches out a long way to give us all the room we need to get it round our tires here. Then we can see that track width, or that width that it gives us. This is available in both the 7 inch and an 8 inch width. You want to position that so it's sitting right on top of your tire for you. As you can see, we've got it covered up there.
A few adjustments, we can get it looking a little bit nicer if we like. If you choose to for extended periods of time, you can fasten it around the rear so you know it's not going anywhere. These come in a one-per-pack, so you'll have one side of your RV covered with one of the kits. Then to do the other side you'd want to purchase a second one. To preserve the tires from unnecessary SUN damage as the trailer sits at the storage lot. Excellent quality, easy install ON and OFF and protects tires. Very pleased and etrailer ALWAYS does a 110% effort and does it everytime...great outfit, great people, great products...

These covers definitely stay on in heavy wind conditions as the bottom strap keeps them from blowing off. I initially thought the thinner material wouldn't hold up, but they have been great and held up through the high temps and sun of the desert. I have a heavier non strapped version on my other trailer which holds up well too, and would be fine with either models.
The 24-26" wheel covers fit just right and look good. The material is easy to hose off if mud splashes up on them. Very happy with them. I blocked the trailer wheel before I put the covers on, so the block slightly affects the look of the fit. If I had taken another minute, I could have made it look perfect for the camera.
A previous trailer hitch receiver was not adequate for a bike rack with heavy mountain bikes. It developed cracks in the metal. There’s a fair amount of vibration for a bike rack at the back end of a camp trailer. I bought the Curt receiver to mount a 50# Kuat bike rack to carry two +50# e-bikes. So the load is +150# plus the torque of extending almost three feet from the receiver. Worked great. An observer noted the rack and bikes were quite stable.

These wheel covers appear to be very well made. The vinyl exterior is supple and flexible. Cloth lined interior should protect wheels. I especially like the bottom edge tie down cord. While a bit awkward to fasten, this should prevent the covers from being blown off by strong winds. Overall, my initial impression is quite positive.
The Valtera wheel covers are soft and playable and hopefully will not crack in the winter cold. The tie cords will keep them on in high wind conditions. Look to be a good product.
These wheel covers are great I live in southern California and we travel to Montana for the summers. I like that they are easy to put on but if you don't put the bungees on them they will blow away if the wind blows more than 10 miles a hour. I don't have any pictures to share.
