Today we're going to be taking a look at the Lubrimatics Snap Lock Pistol Grease Gun. The pistol grease gun applies grease under pressure to moving parts that need lubrication. It's going to feature a push and twist locking mechanism that makes loading and unloading quicker and easier. Really nice design. You just pull down on this little piece right here and then rotate the barrel about an 1/8th or 1/4th of a turn and it releases. 1/4th turn design or 1/8th turn design, right in that area.
It's going to feature a thread-less head cap so you don't have to worry about cross threading. Zero cross threading with this unit. The barrel itself is made from a light weight aluminum construction. Put it back on, rotate it into place until it snaps back into position. Really nice design. It's going to feature, right here is your automatic air bleeder valve that's going to eliminate air pockets for easy priming.
It's got nice one hand operation. Very easy to use. All you have to do is squeeze that trigger. It does come with a flux hose. This is going to help get to those hard to reach areas.
Flux hose will attach directly into this connection there and then this portion would connect to the end of the hose. It does have a hose saver on there for that kinking and binding. It's going to come with a straight pipe, you can put that on there and then you can connect your connector directly on the end of there. Really nice design. Very easy to use. The couplet, straight pipe and hose are all included.
This can also be bulk and suction loaded. It's designed to be used with 14 oz. grease cartridges but again, it can be bulk and suction loaded. Your bulk loader fitting is located right here on the cap. It's going to feature an output pressure of 8,000 Psi output rate, approximately 1 oz. per 40 strokes. Straight pipe length 5 and a half inches and your hose length is 18 inches. You got the easy T handle back here to gain access to. It allows for an easy grip. You've got the release loader there as well. Overall nice solid construction. That's going to do it for today's look at the Lubrimatics Snap Lock Pistol Grease Gun.

Push-and-twist locking mechanism makes loading quick and easy. Uses 14 oz. cartridges.I bought it because of the twist-lock loading feature. Very nicely made, and the twist-lock works great. The handles are long, so pumping should be easy (good leverage). I have only two complaints:
(1) I've had a bit of trouble getting the plunger rod to engage in the main tube piston, to push grease to the head after loading a new grease tube.
(2) The price. After all, it's still just a grease gun. If it were $10 cheaper I'd think they would sell a ton of these compared to the $15 made-in-India ones.
Great gun!
