Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a quick look at the Honda Ridgeline trailer hitch cover. This hitch cover does display the officially licensed Ridgeline logo by Honda. And it is going to slide into your receiver tube on your hitch. It's going to help prevent any dirt or dust, anything like that, rust from getting in there.

It's going to make it much easier when we do have our bike racks or our cargo carriers, things like that, that we're wanting to mount onto our hitch. It's going to be much cleaner and smoother, easier to get those in there. This is a laser marked logo and lettering with a stainless steel faceplate. So it's going to be very easy to read. It is very durable.

It's made of a rust-proof stainless steel sleeve and base. The hitch pin and clip does not come with this, but you should already have one on hand for your other hitch mounted accessories.If you don't have one, we do have lots of different options here at eachother.com. But you can see the different cutouts that we have, how those are going to line up with our pinhole here just for the different depths of our hole opening. I'm not going to tell you that it's going to be super easy to get that lined up. It's pretty much just like all your other hitch mounted accessories.

It is a little bit of a pain to try and get that all lined up and put your pin through there, but no more difficult than any of your other accessories. I do want to give you a few measurements to make sure that this is going to work for you. Our total width is right about five and a quarter of an inch and our total height is right about three inches. I'll take this out our shank links is right about three and a half inches long. Of course, it's the two inches wide so they don't fit into our two inch by two inch receiver tube.
