Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Honda Pilot trailer hitch cover. This is going to mount into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. It's going to help prevent any dirt and debris from getting inside your receiver tube, which can also help to keep out water and prevent rusting. Just make it much easier for you to get your hitch mounted accessories in and out without having all that contaminant in there.
But this is also going to feature the Honda Pilot licensed logo. Shows off your pride in owning a Honda Pilot. Can integrate well with your Pilot's look so that you have a matching look between your hitch cover and your vehicle.This is a nice laser etched logo and lettering on our textured matte black face plate here. It's very easy to read. It's got a nice rugged look to it.
This is a nice rust-proof stainless steel construction. It's going to last you a nice long time. You can see, we do have three different pin holes there to line up with the different depth pin holes for different hitches. It should line up. Keep in mind the pin and clip is not included.
To keep this in your hitch, you probably already have a pin and clip for some of your other hitch mounted accessories that will work for this. But if you don't already, I would recommend getting a locking pin to make sure that no one who also likes Honda Pilots comes along and pulls this out of your hitch. It'll just help to keep it more secure.Our overall dimensions on this is right at about five and a quarter of an inch wide and three inches tall. This is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US.
