Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this 1/4" to 3/4" stud extractor for 3/8" drive impact wrench. Now this stud extractor will let you remove any seized or broken studs and bolts that are stripped, rusted, broken or smooth studs. And again, it's designed to fit stud diameters from 1/4" up to 1/2". And the way you do that is if you notice the jaws right there, if you just turn this back here, it'll open it up to do a larger one.
Or if you tighten it down, it'll do a smaller one. Once you put this around your stud or bolt and then tighten it down until it's on there, and then what it is, what's nice about this, you can see it is designed to fit into small areas where the studs may be hard to reach. And then on the very back here, you can see it has a connection for your 3/8" drive impact wrench. If you just use a low setting and as you turn that, that'll let you remove the broken stud or bolt out of your piece. Also, this hex shaft right back here can be used with a regular wrench, a ratchet or an impact tool and socket to also remove it if you don't have a 3/8" drive impact wrench. But that should do it for the review on this 1/4" to 1/2" diameter stud extractor for the 3/8" drive impact wrench..
