Get a little extra security when you are towing with Curt's double-lock, gooseneck hitch. Chrome-plated ball locks in place with two pins while towing and flips over for storage inside the hitch when its job is done. Installation kit included.

Specs:
The Curt Double Lock underbed gooseneck trailer hitch provides a sturdy, secure connection for towing your gooseneck trailer and also allows for a clean, unobtrusive look for your truck bed when you aren't towing. To tow, simply pull the included handle out to unlock the hitch. Then insert the chrome-plated hitch ball into the ball hole. You may need to rotate the ball to line it up with the dual locking pins. When the ball drops into place, rotate the handle counterclockwise until the locking pins snap into position. Because there are 2 locking pins instead of 1, you get extra security for your towing setup.
Get full bed access when you're not towing. Just remove the ball, flip it upside down, drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch, and use the handle to lock the ball in place. A rubber cover is included with the Double Lock. When the ball is stowed upside down in the hitch, place this cover over the ball hole to keep out dirt and grime and create a clean look for your vehicle.

Getting the rubber seal on, was a chore. Torquing the bolts was tricky in confined spaces under the truck and in the wheel well, but it can be done with a 2' torque wrench and all bolts are reachable. 1-2 clicks at a time. There's no way this is a 90 minute job for a novice, especially without a lift. Plan on 4 hours. the 43.5" measurement adding 1/8" with bedliner is dead on. Measure 3 times to be sure. The instruction are good, but it's easier to follow the installation video.
It's worked flawlessly for over 15k miles pulling an 8500lb 5th wheel trailer with my F150. I had U-Haul install it because it is basically a two-man job, but I'd do it myself if I had to do it again. REMINDER, be very precise when measuring and cutting the hole on the truck bed.
Everything was in the box and it works good.
Works great and easy to install.
installation was pretty easy. i really like the flip over ball. we pull a 30 ft camper with it and it does just fine.
Fit and finish are excellent and work as expected. I would be cautious with measuring for the hole in the bed, depending on what if any bedliner is installed. In my 2018 F150 the factory spray in bedliner was thinner than the measurement in the instructions. This resulted in the hole being off center by 1/8". This is not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of, and is the responsibility of the installer. I Regularly pull a 9800 pound fifth wheel camper and gooseneck dump box with no issues.
I installed this myself so the learning curve applies. The directions say to add 1/8" if a bed liner is in place. I wouldn't do that again if I was installing another. It puts the hitch far forward on the frame and up against a crossmember. Some adjustment (brute force) and I was able to get clearance. Torquing the bolts, especially the back frame nuts can be a challenge. Cutting a notch to clear the lock handle is something I think could be eliminated with a little more engineering. Maybe a longer handle as well as I have well liners and it is behind it when locked. After it was in and using it for nearly a year pulling my 5W it has served well.
This is a solid top notch hitch. Installation was easy and product support was available if needed. Etrailer was and still is the go to store for all my trailer related needs.
Exactly as described, no issues whatsoever. I would definitely buy this again if I needed to. I had a couple issues during installation due to stupidity and not reading, but that was entirely on me and they were easily rectified.
Have not installed yet but product looks great
High quality product for the price. Installation wasn't too bad. Instructions weren't great but not terrible either.
I like this product. It installed as per the instructions and works the way it should. If I get a different truck I will buy another one.
Installed easy great product great price I recommend them to anybody fast shipping fit right in my 2018 Ford F150 4-wheel drive
A great hitch; took longer to install than I thought it would, bu well worth the time.

2014 F150
Wow, what can I say, this is an extremely solid, well built unit.
I knew it was about 90 pound, but when you take it out of the boxes the quality really hits you. Everything fits just as it is supposed to. The bolts are all Grade 8, and when you get everything torqued you know this unit is truly part of the truck frame.
Maybe a little over kill for our 5500# Escape 5.0 TA, but I wanted that confidence while connected, and I got it.
Coupled this with the Anderson Ultimate Hitch in Black Out and couldn't be happier.
