Hey it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats and how they fit in our 2023 GMC Sierra 1500. It's gonna be all one piece so you're gonna get complete coverage of the front of your vehicle. It's gonna be a great way to protect from spills, messes, dirt, debris. Just pop it out and clean it off. Let's take a look.
So with everything in the front, it might be a little bit tricky especially since it's just one piece. So I'll try to just go slow and get the other side sit down around there. It's easier to come in from this angle and I'll have to slide it up under the pedals over here. From here, we can see at the bottom of our mat, there are these anchor points and there are the points established on the Sierra already, so we just have to fit those in. There's one on the left side of the driver's side and then one on the passenger side.
Just snap those in and that's installed. Here on the passenger side, we still have the spots for the anchor points but we don't have the actual anchor points on our Sierra so we just have to rely on friction. But we can take a closer look now at the fit overall. So you see all these raised edges on the sides, they're gonna do a great job of holding in spills and messes. It's all gonna funnel down through these bridges and store in an area where it's not going to be able to spread anywhere else in the interior.
So again, you can just take this out or if it all stores in one area, you could just use the towel, dry that up. Or if it's messes, then you take it out, wash it off, pop it right back in. On the driver's side, we still have tons of room behind the pedals so even though the mats are decently thick which is gonna help them stand up to wear and tear, we still have tons of room back there. So it's not gonna interfere with you when you're trying to press your gas or your brake. On the subject of the overall fit, you can see that we do have this middle piece here built right into the mat, which is what sets the these floor mats apart from your separate floor mats and I can see that complete coverage.
Again, the sides are raised, so spills are gonna funnel down and into the area where you can take care of them easily. The mats are made of a durable thermoplastic rubberized material, so again that's gonna help them stand up to get getting in and out of your car frequently and dragging things in and out of the mats, taking them off, bridging them repeatedly, putting them back in. General wear and tear, they're gonna hold up really well. Overall, if you're looking for a quick and easy install and a super easy way to take care of messes on the inside of your vehicle, WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats are definitely gonna be a great choice. But the anchor points on the driver's side, the mats are gonna go anywhere. I don't think they would anyway, 'cause they're laser measured and cut to fit the contours of your vehicle perfectly. So honestly, friction would probably hold them in place anyway, but super easy to just take out, clean off and deal with messes if you need to. This again was just a quick look at the WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats, how they fit, how they work in our 2022 GMC Sierra 1500.

fits like it should
The fit is lacking quite a bit (like 3-5 inches off in places) also wish I didn’t get the one that covers the whole floor in one piece. I wish it was 3 pieces that snap together for easier cleaning because this design you end up dumping all the crud on the floor of the truck while trying to take the mat out to clean it.

Does not fit the 2018 Hymer Aktiv class B motorhome on Promaster chassis. See pictures. notches for seat posts are not even close. The floormat extends into passenger side lower step well causing trip/foot snag when entering vehicle. Does not extend into area between seats leading to another raised area prone to trip/foot snag. Not good for RV use. I gave it two stars for quality of material. I'll be requesting return/refund.
Perfect fit for my Toyota Sienna. Doesn’t slide around-containing everything I’m tracking into the car, mud and snow especially. Easy to clean, will preserve original carpet below.
Cargo mat delivered did not completely
Fit the cargo area. I'm assuming the wrong mat was sent. 2018 Chevy Equinox LS . Waiting for response back from eTrailer. I called 800 # on July 11, 2017 three times from 4:30pm to 5pm EST and computer prompt for service with product was #3. On hold twice for over 15 minutes with no explanation or human contact. Called third time and used prompt 1 for sales thinking they would surely pick this call up. Same 15 minutes on hold without any contact. Hung up again after unnecessary wait.
Hopefully this will get worked out and at the minimum a credit should be offered for the screw up and non existent customer phone service.
These front mats are great, and definitely caught all of the krud my shoes brought in during the winter.
The ONLY quibble I have is that the Tahoe has a manual pedal-style parking brake, and when engaging it (pushing down) it catches the left edge of the mat. Over time, it has shredded the edge a bit; I have to be careful to push it aside and depress the pedal more cautiously.
Received the mats 6 days after ordering using the "free shipping "option. I feel this is reasonable and the tracking provided was accurate and up to date.
Now about the mats. I have owned many vehicles and have always tried to protect the interior and keep it as new looking as possible. I believe these mats will help me do that. In s word, they are great. They fit really well and the color match is spot on. The texture is non-slip and they are flexible enough that taking them in and out is a very easy. In short they are perfect for my vehicle and I would most certainly buy them again.
I will definitely use "etrailer" again for any products I need that they carry.
This was the longest hitch ball mount I could find anywhere. I used it with a short extension for my 2021 T G so that I could open the back doors without hitting the trailer wheel crank. With my new trailer, Intact Flyer Discover, I don't need the extension and can still open the doors. Works well.
These mats are fantastic, they fit perfectly, keep the floors and carpet clean and protect the factory flooring. Excellent mats and great deal from etrailer!
The mat is exact size needed! One mat is waaay better than the individual ones that came with the Sprinter!

WeatherTech stands true to their claims of custom fit. My floor mats dropped in place with no effort. So much nicer looking than the plastic flooring in the cab of my motorhome. Clean up will be easier now that the mats are in place.

I started looking for these floor mats by going to the WeatherTech website. I put in all the truck info and was surprised and disappointed to see that no mats came up. Then I did a google search and they came right up on etrailer.com. I was a bit skeptical that they weren't available from the manufacturer, but I could get them here. I received them today and they are the real deal. The price was competitive and they were delivered in two days! Great job etrailer!

Great floor mats
Not overly impressed with the fit in the rear seating area. Edges curled up near the doors. Withholding an opinion on them to see if the edges flatten out.
