Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech Front Auto custom fit floor mats and how they fit in our 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. This is gonna be the driver's side and the passenger side. Gonna be really easy for you to clean up messes. They're really easy to install, take out and just wash off if you need to. Let's check 'em out.

We'll first start with the driver's side. It's gonna be easier if you go front first and get that underneath the pedals. There are two spots where our anchor points line up. You can see those spots on the GMC, just line those up, press those down into place. The passenger side mat does have anchor points available but the GMC does not.

So all we need to do for the passenger side is actually just fit the mat in and friction will hold it in place. Taking a closer look at the fit, the mats are laser measured, so they're gonna fit perfectly and match around all the contours of our Sierra. Plenty of room behind the pedals. The walls on the mats extend up high enough that we're gonna be able to funnel those messes in and the ridges on the channels as well are gonna help the liquid funnel down to an area where it can be easily cleaned or it's not gonna spread around to anywhere else on your vehicle. You can just take the mats out again, clean them off, pop right back in.

The mats are made of a durable rubberized material which is gonna hold up really well to getting in and out very often and it's gonna hold up to those messes that we talked about especially when you're taking 'em out and rinsing 'em off and putting them back in. So they are also a black finish. We have them in different colors available as well. Black just compliments most interiors as it does with the Sierra. With the Sierra though, we do have this raised portion here in the middle, which is just the interior of the vehicle.

So WeatherTech does actually make a complete system here where it's all one piece if you want to get that, cuz if you do spill something on here, it will just soak into the material under the store and stain there. So if you are looking at these WeatherTech floor mats, I would recommend just upgrading to the ones that are one piece so you get that complete coverage. Overall though I could still see the separate pieces being useful for you. If you're getting in and out frequently and maybe you're just using the driver's side, maybe you don't have a ton of other people in your car and you want just one piece that you wanna take out and put back in more frequently, that could be a great option for you. But if you do have a passenger a lot of the time I again would recommend upgrading to that whole complete piece, or just one piece to get you that complete coverage, which is just a nicer fit in my opinion. But again, these are a great solution for you if you just wanna keep the interior of your car a little cleaner.
