Floor mats that shift not only leave your carpet unprotected in certain areas, but they also create a potential hazard. A mat that has shifted out of place can affect your ability to adequately depress the pedals in your car and can even get jammed beneath your brake pedal.
Some car mats have integrated anchors and fasteners that are supposed to be an improvement over basic anti-slip technology. But these devices often create a structural deficit in the mat. Today on our 2014 GMC Sierra 1500, we're going to review and install the Husky Weather Beater custom floor liners for the front and second row, part number HL98242, grey in color. The weather beater floor liner kit comes with both the driver and passenger floor liner and a one piece liner for the second row. This application is also available in tan, part number HL98243 or black, part number HL98241. To begin our install, we need to remove the older manufacturer's floor mat. As we can see, it's doing a pretty good job of containing the dirt here on the floor mat but we also have a lot that's coming off of the floor mat and getting ground into our carpet. Let's go ahead and remove it and set it aside. As we install the new Husky floor liner, it's pretty clear to see we've got a much bigger floor liner as we can reuse the manufacturer attachment points to secure the floor liner in place.
On the bottom side of the floor liner are the special stay put nibs. These are used especially in applications where there's no manufacturer attachment points to really lock the floor liner into place so it doesn't shift and move around. Our floor liner itself is made of a thermal plastic material which means it's durable enough to be molded so it fits the shape and contour of the vehicle's floor board while yet still flexible enough to easily get it in and out of the vehicle. Here we can see where the floor liner overlaps the manufacturer's threshold. It's got a raised outer edge and it extends onto the driver's foot rest and up underneath the dash. You can see here we've got coverage underneath the gas and brake pedal and we continue our raised outer edge as we come back down the console.
With the raised outer edge, it will help to keep the dirt and debris contained in the liner but also, any liquids such as a spilled drink or possibly inclement weather, rain, snow, sleet or ice that gets dragged into the vehicle. The channels and moldings here in the bottom of the floor liner will help divert that liquid away from the driver's feet so they can stay nice and dry. With our driver's side installed, let's move over to the passenger's side. We'll go ahead and remove the older manufacturer floor mat and we're ready to install the new floor liner. Here on the passenger side, we've got the extension that goes over the threshold, the raised outer edge, then our coverage extending way up underneath the dash which will come in real handy in case someone gets in with a pair of dirty work boots. As we come back down the console, we've got the raised outer edge keeping that dirt and debris contained on the liner and off of our carpeting. Custom molding covering the floor board and our coverage goes all the way up to the front row seat tracking.
Now, on the second row to make it easier to remove the old and install the new floor liner, we're going to go ahead and raise the seat up out of our way. We can see the dirt and debris that's building up around the corner of the floor mats. The new Husky liner is just going to slide right into place, fit into position and as we can see, we've got the threshold coverage here, custom molding going around the door pillar and up to the seat tracking and even up underneath the seat and continuing with the raised outer edge. You got the custom molding going up and over the center hump and around the console and then back down repeating on the passenger side. Here in the passenger's foot rest area, this is going to be the special channels and moldings to divert any liquid spills or inclement weather while still keeping it on the floor mat and off of our carpeting. Keep in mind, underneath is our stay put nibs, they're really going to help hold that floor liner in place from shifting and moving around giving us nice traction when we're getting in and out of the vehicle. Not only are these floor liners easy to install but they can also easily be removed and cleaned and washed with soap and water.
As you can see with the seat down, it goes underneath the seat so we've got plenty of coverage area. With all of our floor liners installed, we're ready to hit the road and that will do it for our review and install of the Husky Weather Beater custom auto floor liners, part number HL98242 on our 2014 GMC Sierra 1500.

Fits well and keep carpet clean
An excellent product that has worn well and held its shape much better than WeatherTech (from past experience). A small ding would be that the computer generated form is slightly off, rendering the cut-out for the gas cap release a bit problematic. It’s still a very handsome product, no real regret ask

They are very lightweight, I hope they don't lift off the windshield at highway speed.
My 2018 Subaru Crosstrek has the gas tank release lever on the driver floor side and this mat has a cutout option to allow for this feature. The mat fits perfectly, they grip the rug and the mat surface is not slippery. Satisfied with the product.

I ordered the Husky front floor mats for my 2015 town and country van .I am really satisfied with them the mats fit great are are of excellent quality. I ordered the tan mats they go good with my light brown carpet and the rest of my interior. Thanks for making such a great product.
They are just a good set of windshield wipers, but it was a pleasant surprise to find that the company where I buy my trailer stuff has such a range of quality products at a fair price. To be honest, I have never found a better source for products on the internet, because every aspect of customer service is so extraordinary.
I have to say, that when I originally considered buying my Husky floor mats instead of WeatherTech floor mats, I was a bit concerned about the ole 'you get what you pay for' factor. We had used WeatherTech in our Lexus SUV and had been very satisfied with them. I was particularly concerned that the Husky's costed about 35% less than the WeatherTech's. However, here it is one year later and I am FULLY satisfied with the Husky mats. They'l stayed in place well in my 2016 Subaru Outback and have even protected more of the floor than the WeatherTechs would have. I would definitely by this brand again and recommend them to friends and family!
I received product in mail. watched a youtube video. changed my wiper blades. when asked why i ordered them online??? saved me $15 on the pair and I didn't have to go look for them. came right to my door. I am a woman whom has not changed wiper blades before. These Husky floor liners fit my 2013 Tundra like a glove. I can quickly destroy the inside of truck, but with these floor liners my carpets will always look like new. Love these things!
The mats are great. They fit my Wrangler perfectly, as I expected since I have used Husky Liners for many years. And, the wheel lock is exactly what I was looking for. I used one to better secure my Wrangler's spare tire and wheel.

I have purchased Huskyliners for two other vehicles in our "fleet" and remain very satisfied with the product line. In the Northeast snow and slush tracked in on boots when entering and exiting the vehicle get carpets wet and they stay wet, causing mold and mildew and promote rust. Huskyliners save the floorpans from this abuse.
I recently bought a very clean, used Ford F150 Lariat, but it only had the factory provided floor mats. Between dirt and manure, I knew I needed some better floor mats. I ordered a set for the front and back of the truck, and the fit is great and with the lip on the mat, I no longer have to worry about dirty and worn carpet. A friend who also has an F150 now wants some for their truck.
Arrived exactly as scheduled, the mats are as expected, tough rubberlike composition, fit the floor fairly seamlessly. There is somewhat of an overlap between the edge of the mat and the door opening, it might become problematic if the mat curls up at the edge, but so far so good. No offensive odor at all, these are what I wanted for a reasonable price, hope they hold up!

They are good but I wish I had paid the extra money and bought the weathertech. These fit nicely but there a few gaps where dirt goes under them.

Not only is the etrailer price good, the mats were on sale, so even better.
Initial thought was that the material was thin. NOT SO! Almost 30K miles later and no noticeable wear. Simple hose-off and sun dry after winter this past spring and they're good as new.
Considered cutting the tunnel strap out of the rear mat to make two foot-well mats. Glad that I left well enough alone. That strap has protected against scuffy-things with no sign of wear on the mat.
In summary - We USE this car and the Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Mats are up to the task. Great purchase for the car.
So far, so good. We just installed the two matts (2nd and 3rd row) in our new (used) Grand Caravan, and we are pleased so far. We have three young boys and are on the go a lot, so have lots of spills. Unlike the competitive matts, the Husky product gave us the best of both worlds: full coverage in front of and around both the 2nd and 3rd rows of seats, still allowing access to the storage area in the floor in front of the second row. The competitor's first product gives full coverage, however, it is one piece, so unlike this Husky product, cannot simply be pulled out from in front of the 2nd row to access the storage area. Their other product is two-piece for 2nd and 3rd rows, but does not cover around the side of the seats, where crumbs and drinks always spill. We like how the nibs on the backs of the covers keep them in place, though we are concerned that the nibs may damage the carpet, though we have not read of this being an issue. In fact, we had bought the competitors matts for the front seats because they appeared to fit better; but are returning them and in turn purchasing the Husky brand from etrailer because the other ones move around under our feet.
I have to say I was quite pleased with the customer service during this first buying experience with etrailer. I received regular, personalized email updates, and was given an open door to contacting customer service via response email or a clearly posted 800 number. Now days, most on-line sellers hide their service contacts, and reduce them to form responses and long hold times. Not this company. Also, etrailer makes reviews easy to post, providing a fast link once the product is delivered. Conscientious buyers like us depend on reviews to help us purchase wisely.
I would buy more Husky products, and would buy again from etrailer.
