How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the WeatherTech HP floor liners for your 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Adding floor liners to the front of your vehicle is gonna allow you to keep the carpet looking actually nice. Another cool thing about the WeatherTech is the fact that they cover more than just that small space that your OEM mats are gonna cover, they're actually measured to cut cover more of your floor. So let's take a closer look at it inside the vehicle. On the back of the mat you'll notice that there are nibs that grip onto the carpet to keep everything right in position so it's not gonna slide, it'll sit pretty firm. I'm gonna just drop our floor mat right into the floor.
It's actually designed to essentially hold up right into the space of the inside. When you take 'em out the box initially, it may be some curtilage where it's not laying down completely flat, but you just sit it out in the sun if it's during the warmer months and it'll just relax into position. All right, and now we're gonna put our driver's side in. It's contoured to fit exactly on the inside, and you're just gonna make sure you are aligning those connection points with the connectors on the floor. This is for your snap, and as you can see not only is it in that smaller space, it's covering your foot rest right here well up into the top behind your pedals, kind of hanging over to the door jamb.
So if you we're to spill something in here, it'll contain it. If you have ice or mud, it'll keep everything from getting on the actual carpet. So if you got a pickup truck, it's quite likely at some point or another you're gonna have dirty boots. Overall, the HP liners are super good as far as being able to clean up. You can hose them off directly, I usually suggest when I was back in our customer service department talking to people on the phone, I used to always suggest getting the cleaner along with the products.
The floor liner and floor mat cleaner is gonna help keep that fresh out the box appearance on your aligners, and help you get the longest life possible on 'em. I mean in general when it comes to floor mats, you have a lot of different choices but the fact that the WeatherTech is designed to over cover the floor is what makes it different and what sets it apart, and the fact that it's gonna be super specific to the interior of the vehicle. Also consider grabbing the rear HP floor mat for the back of your vehicle. In general, it's gonna be a great way to keep all of the carpet protected in the whole truck. The floor mats are a disappointment. They are too big and just don’t fit right. I removed the factory mats, but the only way they might possibly fit is if I remove all factory carpeting. I’m not going to do that. The hold down anchors are also in the wrong spots, none of the four anchors line up. They are not worth the price.

Etrailer did a great job getting us just what we ordered.
HOWEVER, feedback to weather tech... we were looking for something that could cover up the metal latches on the floor in the back of the Jeep, bc my dog sits back there. This doesn't do what i needed it to do.
We may get a super cheap, cut out mat or a yoga mat for him.
I think he may have cut himself on one of the metal hooks. They are there for the storage bay, which we took out to make room for - guess who, ... the dog, LEVI!
I'll come back and add photos later..... Both of the DOG and the Mat!

I have always purchased the floor liners however I decided to try the 3d floor mats for my new truck. These are every bit as good as the liners in my opinion. They provide extra coverage over the door sills and are more pliable as well. The Weathertech name is imprinted on the mat instead of the label on the floorliners which will over time lose the adhesive backing and become dislodged with the heel of your shoes. Unfortunately I've had this experience with the floorliners, while not affecting its performance, it can be unattractive with glue residue left behind. I've always let the liners or mats sit out of the box at room temperature for 24 hours then install with perfect fitment every time. If you're on the fence about these mats give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

They fit great. Do trim them so they don’t get caught by the lower edge of the door and curl them up. Just noticed that there was trim instructions on the bottom of the mat. Now they fit great.
